    Racists

gun control laws have a disparate impact on the poor.

If you notice....there was nothing related to race in the original quote:

You should be asking that of leftwingers including yourself.
    Uh-huh.

I agree that the disparity continues today. Securing self defense as a poor person is difficult because of gun control laws.

I don't think its pandering though. Its not like you are going in there with handouts. You are going in these neighborhoods to introduce a political philosophy first hand. You are showing an interest in a group that feels alienated from the GOP. Besides, its smart political strategy. If republicans could just get 25% of the black vote, they would never lose control of the House and would be competitive nationally in states they don't now even bother with. Without blacks, liberalism is finished. And they know it.

affirmative action is based on race not economic situation

so when I was in college I saw black kids whose parents were wealthy and who had attended say Exeter get into top law schools with Obama level (below 3.3) GPAs while white kids from less wealthy families who went to public schools were denied entrance to say Harvard law despite having higher GPAS and much higher LSAT scores

when I was applying to law school (fall of 1980) Harvard for example gave blacks (rich or poor) 130 Points on their LSAT and .5 points on their GPA

so a white or Asian guy with a 3.7 at Yale college and a 750 LSAT score (which gave the applicant a decent shot at Harvard) would be ranked behind a black from Yale college with a 3.3 GPA and a 640 SAT score (numbers which would leave a white man less than a 1/100 chance of getting into Harvard Law)

He has undone the Welfare reform that was enacted under former president Bill Clinton. There are now roughly 45 million Americans on government assistance. And again your suggesting that calling Obama a food stamp president amounts to racism shows your lack of respect for African Americans. As for courting birthers.......that movement started in the Hillary Clinton camp.
The ID laws make it far more difficult for poor people to vote. Black people in the U.S. are disproportionately poor.

Please, continue. You are making all of my arguments for me.

Absolutely false, the lack of opportunity and access is at root a matter of economics.

You don't have the slightest understanding of the basis of AA.

Further, you would be advised to get back to the topic.
