So let's turn to Europe where the social contract has had a long run. Gee, the EU is not looking so good. What happened? Big taxes, cradle to grave nanny state entitlements, protected jobs, etc., etc.. If this meme of yours worked, why are the economies stagnant? Why aren't all members of the EU not swimming in the glory of the socialist state?

Without the windmill of Reagan and the catch phrase "trickle down" I seriously doubt the truth could be as well hidden from the minions as long as it has been.
Ahh so you think attacking Europe with false right wing narratives will some how change the subject?

I know you conservative types have a hard time with the truth, and the truth about Reagan is and always will be, that he was in no way the man that so many Conservative idealize. His policies were good and they were bad but the defining economic policy of his, was what is known as trickle down economics and that has failed big time.

I don't think even hardcore communists even understand what Reagan did... Reagan basically let the USSR spend themselves into bankruptcy over the Soviet/Afghan war and Regan helped them by dropping weapons to the "rebels" which some eventually became terrorist sects and are using the same weapons against the US to this present day..

Communism fell and Islamic extremism really ramped up.

See that is the problem with you conservative types... "poor" dont have anything to invest once they pay for the basics!

Maybe you cant even quantize the rich and poor and you're just talking out of your ass?
Sure I can quantitative them, but you wont accept it, so why bother.

What percentage of middle class individuals who started off poor are now rich?
very few. The middle class has had at best flat income growth the last 30 years. Sure there are a few that made the big time, but they are a very small minority. Where as the top 1% have gotten richer and richer.

There is no problem.... People came to the United States with a few bucks in their pocket and built empires....

    Do you not understand that?

Maybe some people are either stupid or not motivated?

Besides do you really believe that some of these ****s living in projects are poor? when in reality most make more in a week than you do a year? but continue to live in housing projects?

Do you think I'm a rich man making fun of poor people? hell no..... However I do understand that it takes effort to get out of the rut....

You just sit there and pretend there success is some sort of patronage people are born into and none of them worked hard for their riches or even took losses trying to find an idea that was successful.

False right wing narratives? I'll let the record speak for itself, and you can dodge it all you want to hang on to the Reagan meme. It hides so much.

If you want a real "enemy" to do battle with, look no further than the social justice globalization movement. The reason there has been such a shift in incomes has to do with how incomes are earned, not some greedy rich hording money narrative that keeps the eyes of the uninformed on a false target.

If one could push aside the liberal/progressive ideological narrative, one could see the shift began in the US when labor and ever increasing government intervention resulted in the US giving away it's manufacturing edge. The steel industry is a great example of this short sighted effort. Labor hammered for increased wages and benefits, while government reigned down with draconian environmental regulations and little time to implement them. At the same time imports were allowed to be dumped on the market at costs well below those needed for domestic industry to stay viable. Add in the increasing demands of investors for ROI, which included the massive public/private pension plans, and corporations had no choice but to look for ways to lower the cost of finished goods.

Today, business owners from all areas of the economy are screaming for relief from the never ending burden of government mandates, and what is the answer from the liberal/progressive armada? Business people are rich greedy bastards, hording money from the people, and living the good life, while labor is treated like slaves.

What a fantasy. Rather than listen to the people who can make a difference, they are presented as the enemy.

I just wish that politicians like her would just be truthful about their desire for a communist system.
Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.

Taken out of context and bad idea to pursue.

Same with "what difference does it make"

    and "you didn't build that"

It'll blow up in your face, because you'll end up doing something stupid like hosting a Republican National convention under the auspices of "We built that" in a stadium built with public money...

I don't know who would do something that stupid...
