She is a US senator and a darling of the media. If she is being victimized by elected members of the US senate then she should expose them FOR THE BENEFIT OF PEOPLE LIKE YOUR WIFE WHO CANNOT DO IT. How do you not understand this?
Good gosh, Elizabeth Warren didn't claim to be a 'victim.' She didn't allege sexual harassment or abuse. So she has nothing to win by 'naming names' for the kinds of issues alleged by Sen. Gillibrand, which she agreed to WHEN ASKED DIRECTLY, which were that at least some entitled, coddled, white male chauvinists in the Senate behave like they do in many male dominated institutions, which is that some of them continue to treat women as less than equals. In anything other than this political environment, the appropriate response is "yeah, no shiate, and the sky is blue."

The basic problem is simple. The House is roughly 80% male, Senate 80% male (all time records), I don't have the stats, but the key lobbyists at least 80% male, partners at key D.C. law firms almost all male, CEOs nearly 100% male, and so the most powerful institutions across the board in America have been male dominated for longer than we've been a country. Through much of that history, including much of my lifetime, the percentages were nearly 100% across the board. Those institutions are changing, but it will take another generation or two to complete, and really all she said was they hadn't YET.

I provided two options. See the sentence directly following that starts out, "And if not,...."

She is making the claim, and she should either do something about it, or back off it. She can't have it both ways.
She answered a question. And for some reason, you're convinced that the ONLY option she has to "do something about it" is to publicly name names and accuse her Senate colleagues of misdeeds, even if unprovable beyond a claim of 'she said/he said.' Based on my experiences, that's a stupid strategy unless your goal is to burn your bridges and go to work somewhere else.

So she, like Senator Gillbrand, is just going to claim it happens, but never name names.

Excellent political ploy there. Gin up the "war on women" crap. She's pretty smart after all.

Well, that's because she's not a real Native American, obviously.

    I'll show myself out...

    Really!

    Never every once?

Have you every been mistreated by women (snide comments to barriers for advancement)?

    PS...no requirement to name names.

Without names the claims are meaningless and can neither be proven or disproven. If she isn't going to name any names she is wasting her time and everyone elses. Oh and yes, without names it does appear to be nothing but a political ploy. Sorry, but this kind of crap has been pulled plenty of times before, so the little game has already been discovered.

It has been shown she is a descendant of one of the white individuals involved in the trail of tears.
