I think there are three possibilities here:
    1) She is lying
    2) She is just your typical hypersensitive liberal who thinks there is an 'ism' at fault every time she doesn't get her way
    3) The one you mentioned--that those treating her badly are the male members of her own political party. But she would hardly be the first leftist to overlook bad behavior for the furtherance of her ideology.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren says she has been treated differently as a woman in Congress.

But unlike Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, who opened up about her experience with sexism on Capitol Hill in a recent book, Warren the first woman ever elected to the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts won't elaborate.

In an interview with CNN scheduled to air Wednesday, Warren was asked whether she had experienced treatment similar to what Gillibrand described.

    "Yes," Warren said.

    Would she care to elaborate?

"Nope," she said. "I've said all I'm going to say."

    <snip>

First off, she looks nuts in that picture.

Second, she (and her Democratic counterparts in DC) push female citizens to fight against treatment like this, at the risk of alienating their bosses and co-workers, etc. But Senator Warren doesn't want to name names? Doesn't want to provide specifics? Doesn't want to fight it?

    What am I missing here?
she's a lying Drama queen. probably trying to get some attention

I'm not aware of any WOMAN who would counsel that, unless the person naming names wanted to burn her bridges at that place as a parting shot out the door.

Like I said, my wife is in a heavily male dominated field and has faced this issue in every job, and we discuss 'what to do' all the time. I could talk about a dozen examples, and the only time she's taken an action that 'named names' was a senior person who made repeated, and unwelcome 'advances' and wouldn't take "NO!" for an answer. She did name a name in that case.

    4) The Senate is a good old boys club full of male chauvinists and naming names is a good way to torpedo any ability to work with the accused members and all the rest of the good old boys who don't see a problem treating the little women like second class interlopers in their exclusive club.

Goodness, has no one ever known a woman who's worked (in the South at least) in a professional environment dominated by men?

Liberal woman crying about being treated unfairly in a male-dominated government body.

Wow, how many stereotypes can we fulfill in one day.

But I forgive her because of her Native American heritage.

Hillary was in the Senate. Did she complain about it? But I see that your standard is that when a woman is the victim of a 'good old boys club' she is supposed to remain quiet and in her place, right? The truth is, making a broad claim as she did then refusing to name names is the height of cowardice pure and simple.

Nonsense. Warren naming names would make her the darling of the media (more so than she already is for some unkown reason). What might be true for a WalMart employee is not true in the case of Warren. If there is one woman in America who could champion the cause of women on this issue it is Warren. And if she refuses to do so for her own narrow political gain, then she is a pathetic hypocrite.

And this harms that effort. BO knew to play by the rules.
She is not nearly as clever as she thinks.

She's reinforcing every stereotype about women imaginable.

In order to make a claim of discrimination, you have to name names. Otherwise I could just say "I'm being discriminated against" without any facts, and that would not hold up in a court of law.
