How refreshing is that....A PM calling it terrorism and not workplace violence unlike Obama.

OTTAWA, Ontario — A masked gunman killed a soldier standing guard at Canada’s war memorial Wednesday, then stormed Parliament in an attack that was stopped cold when he was shot to death by the ceremonial sergeant-at-arms. Canada’s prime minister called it the country’s second terrorist attack in three days.
“We will not be intimidated. Canada will never be intimidated,” Prime Minister Stephen Harper vowed in an address to the nation.

So when are you moving to Canada, where they have universal health care, where English is not the only legally recognized language and where same sex marriage is legal, and so is prostitution and so is abortion.

Let us know how you like it in Canada, my extreme right wing friend, eh?

Harper is a staunch conservative other wise no one is perfect...I know its difficult for you my left wing friend but try and stay on topic. Oh and thank you for the right wing comment......I appreciate it.

I still have no idea why people are saying workplace violence.

If you guys were as concerned about DEALING with terrorism as you are about labeling it conservatives might actually be effective in fighting terrorism rather than just leaving messes for the Democrats to come in and clean up.

Evidently the hard core right wingers all think the key to defeating terrorism is Semantics.

... Harper is not really a staunch conservative. He is Conservative Lite. If anything, he's more like Europe's right wing in the 80s. They care about social issues, but don't put up much of a fight when challenged. Don't believe me? Look up abortion in Canada. You'll see - most of what Harper has done has been on the fiscal ends. As far as social issues go, he's been pretty much a non-issue.

I still have no idea why people are saying workplace violence.

On November 5, 2009, a mass murder took place at Fort Hood, near Killeen, Texas. Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army major and psychiatrist, fatally shot 13 people and injured more than 30 others. The shooting produced more casualties than any other on an American military base. Several individuals, including Senator Joe Lieberman, General Barry McCaffrey, and others have called the event a terrorist attack. The United States Department of Defense and federal law enforcement agencies have classified the shootings as an act of workplace violence.

The people who were injured and killed have been denied many benefits they should receive because it was workplace violence and not terrorism. MAJ Hasan is a Muslim and an extremist.
