AP-GfK Poll: Most expect GOP victory in November

Rothenberg and Nate Silver too.....the Demos are in full panic mode and have Bilbo Clinton out trying to pull some more money for the Demos.

Rothenberg: Expect a Republican Wave of at Least 7 Senate Seats

While the current Rothenberg Political Report ratings don’t show it, I am now expecting a substantial Republican Senate wave in November, with a net gain of at least seven seats.

Right now, for example, the Rothenberg Political Report/Roll Call Senate ratings suggest Republican gains in the mid-single digits. My newsletter has the most likely outcome of the midterms at Republican gains of 5 to 8 seats, with the GOP slightly more likely than not to net the six seats it needs to win Senate control.

Uh oh. The dreaded "wave" election. I expect sales of Depends to democrats to rise on the news.

If it goes republican now...then nothing happens for 2 years. Just political posturing and business as usual.

Not really.....it puts BO on the line. Which then he can't just talk about vetoing. He goes down for the record and must use his Pen. No more hiding and no more talking BS.

Oh, and "no one" he can call with his phone, for help.....either.

And remember the dims under ried have made it so now the senate only need 51 votes to approve almost ANYTHING.. LOL.. I love it when this stuff back fires. Of course when they lose ried will be touting that this is wrong.. rinse repeat and so on and so on.. LOL

Yet we see them still trying to spin, and deflect it the other way. WAPO, WSJ, FOX, ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC.....all of them are expecting the GOP to pull it off. Big Money is expecting them to pull it off.

Also the larger the turnout and with BO being left alone......should show BO his humble beginnings once more.

Only ones that don't want to see it......are those supporters and some Countries overseas who feel they can get away with whatever, when there is a Democrat in the White House.

I'm thinking of taking the next few weeks off here until after the election. I can either come back and gloat for a moment or two, or at the very least prepare for yet another two years of political insanity at the hands of the left. I'm hoping for the former, but preparing for the latter. Certain posters here will be acting as if their very lives have been refuted should the GOP win. That's worth witnessing just for the sheer satisfaction the retributive nature of politics provides.

Greetings, humbolt. :2wave:

I've also been thinking of taking the next few weeks off, and I do need a vacation. Have you noticed that there's never a cave available when you need one, though? That's important right now, since it appears that our entire way of life is being threatened by the *gasp* possibility of the Senate changing hands!

It all keeps repeating and recycling one step forward, then the Demo reign and its 2 steps back.....but BO did show us all one thing. That he would do everything in his power to take out and or limit Republicans, attack Republicans verbally as The President of a Nation, not chide. Attack and defame, that which he can't do to ISIS or our enemies......while attempting to tell all that their conservative ideology is dead and they and Republican have no plans or future. The Demos did play it underhanded and nasty.....like they always have done.

Its time for the Republicans and Independents to note that.....and never forget it. Time to constantly work at taking out the party that can only win by dividing up the country, while believing in big government, and looking to be a Citizen of the World.

Until they are no longer ever a threat again!

When they lost congress in the 90's, the democrats changed. When they adopted the scorched earth policy, they should've considered the consequences of losing in the effort. They'll be claiming success as the boat sinks. Fun to watch.

Because people are smarter than you give them credit for.
They actually are not. If Americans have proven anything, it's that most of their views are easily shaped by who shouts the loudest.
They know BS numbers and propaganda when they hear it.
I'm well aware, which is why I don't understand why the Democrats aren't touting the successes of the last 6 years, successes which FACTS show as being true.

They've paid out the butt at the doctor's office, they still can't find the job they're qualified for, and that house of cards stock market is not benefitting them in the least. They see a flood of illegals about to water down their opportunities, their vote, and their say-so at every turn.
What a load of nonsense.

Millions more people have jobs now than January 2009. GDP is much higher. Civil rights has advanced. The deficits have dropped by more than half. All of these are true things and are facts I would think Democrats would tout, given they've had control of Senate and White House. But they haven't and I can only assume stupidity is the reason.

The reality of what liberalism truly is...it's setting in.
If you're just going to continue saying mind-numbingly partisan/stupid things, I'd appreciate it if you'd reply to someone else. I'd like to discuss this rationally, not illogically. Thanks.
Could be because most of that is not true.
It's all true. The economy has grown, more jobs exist now than in December 2008, DOMO and DADT have essentially been thrown out and deficits have been cut in half.

Only a moron would argue any of those are not true when it is a cold hard fact all of them are true. You may be biased, but you're not a moron. You know all of those are true.
Well sure, but since when do the Democrats abandon the happy lies?
So does that make you a Democrat or are you just lying? Because everything I said was 100% true, as evidenced by facts.

Ignoring for a moment you just quoted Peter Ferrara who then quoted someone from the American Thinker (in other words: mega bias), the article you sourced was from a year and a half ago. Trying catching up with the times.

Unemployment Rate: Bureau of Labor Statistics Data
55 Months of Private Sector Job Creation: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/04/business/economy/monthly-jobs-report-september.html
Total Number of People Working (ie jobs created): Graph: Total nonfarm payroll employment (seasonally adjusted)
GDP: US GDP Growth Rate by Quarter
Deficits: US Federal Deficit Definition - plus charts and analysis
Civil Rights: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/23/us/23military.html

Everything I said was 100% true. You posting a biased article from a biased writer who quotes a biased source from a year and a half ago won't make the truth go away.

What's really dumb about all this is you have a chance to LEGITIMATELY criticize Democrats for their awful campaign strategy, but you forgo that to argue with what are indisputable facts. You really should choose your criticisms better.

Not Looking for Work, Labor Force Participation and Recovery

The FedGov only count those actively looking for employment.

Rejection of DOMA and DADT are morally regressive IMHO

I'm not going to complain about Democrat campaign strategies when their policies are the main problem.

So when you cannot refute facts you simply try to change the subject?

You were wrong. Everything I said which has gotten better is correct. Admit you were wrong and simply move on.

Umm...duh? Why would you count people who aren't looking to work as unemployed? That would be stupid. Do you really think my 80+ year old grandfather who retired as superintendent after 30+ years of working and contributing to his own retirement fund is unemployed?

It doesn't matter how you feel, it is still an advancement in civil rights. More demographics are enjoying equality under the law now than in 2008. For a political party who strongly supports civil rights, it seems to me they should be trumpeting such an advancement. But they are not.

You have a problem with GDP going up, more people working and lower deficits?

Interesting...

Your biased liberal media links are even worse. Your NYT article claims job creation and low unemployment when in reality the unemployment went down because people are no longer looking for jobs. The job creation has been dismal.

My hope is that the GOP takes the Senate by a seat or two and holds onto to the House. They will then go bat gunao crazy over the next two years and we will see all kinds of extremist bills introduced - some passed - and then loudly vetoed by the President. If Obama is willing to stand as the visible bulwark between radical extremist and the interests of the American people..... and if it leads to the GOP nominating a radical like Paul for President believing the nation has swung to the far right - it will lead to massive Dem victories in 2016 as the Goldwater debacle of 64 is repeated all over the land from the top to the bottom of the ticket.

Your biased liberal media links are even worse.
:lamo

The fact you think the BLS and the NYT (who quotes the BLS) are biased links is incredibly funny.

Your NYT article claims job creation and low unemployment
Because it is true. Over 10 million jobs have been created in the private sector alone.

because people are no longer looking for jobs.
Yes, how dare those people retire! Let me guess, you got this from Rush Limbaugh, right? I suspect he or those like him are the only media you think is truth.

The job creation has been dismal.
And yet, it's grown by over 10 million jobs in the private sector since February 2009. This is indisputable.

I prefer facts to do my fluffing. I'm sorry if facts are inconvenient for you.

Your facts are grossly incorrect. They're based on made-up information.

Just because the lure in the water looks like food doesn't mean it is.

No kidding. Can you think how awful it would be if they took up the President's challenge to reform our Corporate Tax Code to reduce the rate from being the highest in the world? Or if they agreed with a wide majority of Americans that we should first secure our border and stop continued inflows before moving to put illegal immigrants already here on a track to legitimacy? Or narrowly got rid of the unpopular punishment portion of the individual mandate in Obamacare?

If Obama is willing to stand as the visible bulwark between radical extremist and the interests of the American people..... and if it leads to the GOP nominating a radical like Paul for President believing the nation has swung to the far right - it will lead to massive Dem victories in 2016 as the Goldwater debacle of 64 is repeated all over the land from the top to the bottom of the ticket.

This awesome opportunity must be why the DNC is trying so hard to make sure that they lose the Senate, yes?

No, they are completely accurate.

They're based on made-up information.
No, they are based on the surveys which have been done by the government for years.

If you think it is made up, then it is on you to prove. So what proof do you have my facts are wrong?

I'll wait, but I know you have nothing.
You are cherry picking info.
I'm not cherry picking anything. I suggest you go back and actually read what I said in this thread. It will make more sense to you. Start with post #7.

OK, Mr. Alinsky. Whatever you say.

Now, if you can get blacks to vote like North Koreans again in two weeks, maybe you can save that Senate!
