White kids rioted at an annual pumpkin feast in New Hampshire. There was destruction of property, tear gas, dozens of people arrested and hospitalized...and the media is relatively quiet about it.

"Well, you know, they were white. Someone probably slipped a little vodka into their seasonally spiced lattes. They're probably good kids. They'll regret it tomorrow and it won't happen again. I'm sure."

Police were forced to descend on Keene, New Hampshire Saturday night after students and outside agitators turned the city’s 24th annual Pumpkin Festival into “a destination for destructive and raucous behavior.”

Those words — spoken by Keene State College President Anne Huot to CNN — only begin to describe the scene, which led to dozens of arrests and hospitalizations.
One rioter, Steven French, told the Keene Sentinel that he traveled from Haverhill, Massachusetts to attend the festival because he knew it would be “f*cking wicked.”

Sure, because there's no distinction what so ever to this " riot " and South Central in the 90s.

Or Ferguson for that matter, or Detroit, ( or what was left of it after the riots )

Its silly to draw parallels when inner city problems neither stop or stop when people decide to use a fqlse narrative to justify breaking the law.

What the hell were they rioting over, anyway? This wasn't a protest over alleged police brutality, none of them are being drafted and sent to war against their will, there was no racism, perceived or real, what were they thinking?

Sounds to me like a bunch of idiots running wild for no particular reason to me.

OK. First of all, there are no "white leaders" unless you know of some that suddenly became silent. Second, this was not a racially motivated riot at all - it appears to have been a "lets's get drunk and rowdy" event. The "mssion", much like an OWS event, was to "party" and taunt the inept police morons that know better than to actually use adequate (deady?) force to stop a riot.

I blame "suburban" culture, Cold Play and skinny jeans.
 
It is just kids being kids. No one wants to ruin their chances to get into college or to get a good job. People just need to lighten up.

No, that's a very competitive area, trying to out-idiot other countries. I doubt just drunken university students could pull it off- you need really dedicated sports fans if you want to be in the running.

Frankly, I'm much more likely to be tough on white people acting like animals, than anyone else acting the same, as they embarrass the hell out of me to be acting that way. If it were my kids, I'd bust their asses, and there would be hell to pay.
