You must be very proud of today's Democrat Party with the 20 million unemployed/under employed/discouraged workers, almost 8 million part time employees who want full time jobs, the over 7 trillion added to the debt, and of course the wonderful condition the world is in. We all know that the part of Obama and Reid have generated these results but partisan liberals like you will never hold them responsible for their own failures. How many bills has the House passed that are sitting in Harry Reid's desk?

And of course I'd have a problem if someone voted 'for' me. But that just doesn't happen. They tried to find examples in Tennessee, and as I recall it was less than a dozen in more than that many elections. So not even ONE time, per election, in the entire STATE.
Furthermore, in Tennessee we've had an "ID" requirement for many years. I'm not sure when it started, but I've had to show "ID" for as long as I remember. I could show my voter registration card, a SS card, a work ID, and many more. That's not a problem. But the Photo ID rules are incredibly restrictive for no purpose anyone can identify, except for the 'feature-not-a-bug' effect of making it much harder for lots of democratic leaning voters to cast a vote.
History is clear, and there isn't any point arguing with you. There are no remnants of the KKK in today's Democratic party. Take a look at the conventions, or party leadership, or the race of elected representatives, and tell me which party would be most comfortable for a KKK sympathizer.....Al Gore's Father was a huge racist
You left wingers are trying to rewrite History by calling Democrats Conservatives, but the truth is the Democrat party has always been about controlling minorities one way or the other.
Hint, it's the party that has elected reps sending images out like this one:
And many more that I don't feel like finding and attaching....
“I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on what’s being proposed here, he’d agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute.” - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.
Not officially since Robert Byrd died, but he always had his sympathizers within the party.History is clear, and there isn't any point arguing with you. There are no remnants of the KKK in today's Democratic party.
It's a stain on the democratic party of that time that they allied with the southern white racists. It's also more a stain on the South, and whites in the South.
But the POTUS at the time the CRA and VRA passed was a Democrat. More democrats than republicans voted FOR those acts. It's just that the white racist south voted almost unanimously AGAINST those acts.
