It just doesn't make sense for the most important person in the entire world to put their self at risk like that. No sense at all.
It likely wasn't a real risk.

What would help is if he actually enacted policy to restrict flights from the infected parts of Africa, which is where all the known U.S. cases originated from, directly or by proxy.
The hospital has made every mistake possible on this and the SS is currently a joke so I will take your bet.

The story on Ebola changes every day and our president kissing nurses who treated an Ebola patient is just plain stupid.

Being that, so far, two of those health care providers have been diagnosed with contracting Ebola... I respectfully disagree.
Everything in your life is a reflection of a choice you have made. If you want a different result, don't blame someone else, or expect others to make a change, you should stop complaining and make a different choice. Remember, the circumstances of your birth don't determine the outcome of your life.

They should have said "Mr. president, we can't let you walk out into traffic and we can't let you kiss ebola nurses, now go sit down at your desk little boy and stay away from that red button thingy too. Wouldn't it be interesting if BO got sick because of this.

“I want to use myself as an example just so people have a sense of the science here. I shook hands with, hugged, and kissed, not the doctors, but a couple of the nurses at Emory because of the valiant work that they did in treating one of the patients. They followed the protocols, they knew what they were doing, and I felt perfectly safe doing so,”

Those same nurses felt "perfectly safe" in their inadequate protective gear, too.

You're free to do that, but I suspect if there was any real chance, he wouldn't have done so. I'm sure every precautions was taken and that it is unlikely he will become ill.

I hope you are correct. This is an issue, which unlike many other posters here, you and I seem to understand is not political, and as an American citizen, I am concerned over the health and protection of my President (regardless of what I think of his politics). That alone, is my motivation in this thread.
