Jeb Bush: Wife and Mother More Supportive of Potential Run

If Hillary wins there will be another "bush" in the White House.

Hillary Clinton running for President demonstrates the Democrats will vote for anything with a (D) behind it.

I gotta agree with this. She's not personable at all. I couldn't get behind her at all in 2008 because she was so fake it was gross. She wanted to "break the glass ceiling" for women by out manning the men. I think we could benefit from being a more matriarchal society and here she is ,as a woman, trying to out macho the men by being more war hawkish so that she doesn't come off too womanly. Too much fakery. Don't know where she's at now but then, it was such a gross display of phoney it was impossible for me to even think of backing her.

No, she is not personable. Neither was Nixon in 1968 or the first Bush in 1988. It all depends on what has happened between now and then and what the public is looking for. It also depends on whom the Republicans nominate as to her chances. As it stands today, the Democrats trustworthy states would put her very close to the 270 electoral votes needed to win.

Bill was a down home type of guy, his wife isn't. But unless the GOP finds someone like Eisenhower who appeals to the masses, not just the hard core right. She doesn't have to be. Maybe Jeb Bush could, I do not know. I think he would do better than Paul or Cruz. But there is also the possibility that the two candidates that will be running against each other in 2016 isn't even on our radar screen yet.

your posts have consistently suggested that you think anyone who isn't a far lefty is stupid so I really don't have much faith in your assessment. One thing Jeb has going for him that his little Brother did not is he will appeal to Latinos far better than his brother.

Jeb would take Florida's 29 electoral votes. He was very popular with independents, as well as Republicans - conservatives.

You'll pull the handle for an ambassador killing old rag doll who wasn't wanted 6 years ago when the empty suit got elected instead.

You are kidding right? With Hillary we get Bill Clinton too for another 8 years. He actually did a good job already. But you would vote for the brother of the biggest failure in modern history? Yes GW's Great recession holds the record.

Have you ever figured that someone who believes like you calling W a failure is a sign of good housekeeping to those of us who find your politics contrary to everything good?

Hillary ain't no Bill Clinton, not by a country mile.

You obviously know nothing about Jeb Bush.

You fail to mention his Hispanic-American wife and children.
Both Bush-41 and Bush-43 used that to their advantage.

Hope he doesn't have a good time law he signed in his past as Florida governor.
Since GOPs are using this garbage again with Willie Horton ads in the Nebraska 2nd.

Who survives the GOP primary of a dozen dunces is anyone's guess.
But it sure seems to me like a lot of lefties on here are trying to curry favor with rightie posters.
That's a recipe for another 2010 .

while that name will handicap him initially, as the public grows to know him separate and apart from dubya, his surname will have little impact on the voting public
in contrast, as the public sees hillary has little of what bill has, in terms of political acumen and charisma, her prospects will fade

Neither does Rik Scott--since he accused Crist of signing a law Bush signed . :lamo

Or you can continue to vote for Obama in November and 2016. A vote for Clinton is a vote for Obama. She enforced his policies as Sec. of State. Birds of a feather...

However, I think the country has had enough of his policies.

And that once again the repubs have anointed a loser candidate that is even worse.

Bull**** false-equivalency.
But I will vote against Bitch McFilibuster when I vote for my DEM Senator.
A vote for Clinton is a vote for Obama.
More bull**** false-equivalency--or just plain blatant irrational lies if you will.
The sleazy game of equivocating two completely different politicians is another card from the bottom of the Nixon deck.
She enforced his policies as Sec. of State.
she enforced the policies of the USA--big difference.
Birds of a feather...
Mindless drivel--thought you were more astute than that.
However, I think the country has had enough of his policies.
Since your President works every day of the year while Congress plays rhetorical hit men 223 days of the year--working only 1/3 of the time.
Yes the Country is sick of Boehner and his KOCH-heads but gerry-mandering is here to stay .

More simpleton attempts to divide Democrats since that's all the party of Nixon has ever had to offer.

And plenty of weak-kneed Dems willing to lap it up trying to curry favor with you.

And you just laugh at them--I know what yer kind is all about .

Hillary ain't no Bill Clinton, not by a country mile.

I know he was a mediocre Governor at best. I also know he's a panderer which I'm sure you will see in the next 2 years. He also doesn't have a chance of winning the WhiteHouse. But then again no Republican has a chance.

Right wing attitudes like yours towards a competent woman are a big part of the reason why the GOP won't win the White House.

"Better days are coming." ~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time, GOP.

She isn't competent in the least. She has been insignificant except for her popular name and her treatment like a celebrity.

Hillary Clinton has no business whatsoever being President. None!

They're only interested in holding the office, not having a qualified President. You can see the same attitude on display with the Ebola czar.

anyone who was around to observe the dukakis, gore, and kerry debacles could not post that comment
hillary is a loser in the same vein
but only if the GOP again runs its own loser
offer a better option that hillary and the GOP owns DC

Funny how you repubs are complaining about an Ebola czar when it was republicans in congress that first came up with the idea. The same holds true for the affordable health care act of which the mandate was first proposed by republicans and even your presidential candidate Romney had pushed to the same thing in his state.

Translation: We are not happy with anything Obama does even if it was our idea in the first place or our presidential candidate was a strong proponent for it.

What's to like? He's incompetent and doesn't even lie well any more.
