The hospital that treated Ebola victim Thomas Eric Duncan had to learn on the fly how to control the deadly virus...
They weren't worried about the virus spreading here, and if it did they had it in the bag............NO PROBLEMO! Yeah right, learning ON THE FLY is how they do it at the CDC.

Oh, and some good news was released this morning. One US Citizen decided to give the CDC 25 Mil. to combat the disease immediately. His name.....Mark Zuckerberg.
It will be routed into the nearest Democrat re-election fund no-doubt.

$25M is a joke for an organization with $billion dollar budgets, so I agree with you.

Zuckerberg stated he wanted the money to go to the front lines on the source. He wanted them to have the proper equipment. I don't think they will play with his demand.

Survey: Four Out of Five Nurses Have Gotten No Ebola Training At All.....

A new survey conducted by the National Nurses Union shows US hospitals may not be adequately prepared to handle Ebola patients, should the virus continue to spread. Out of the 2,200 nurses who responded to the union's questionnaire, 85 percent reported that their hospitals had not provided education on Ebola. 76 percent said their institution had no policy for how to admit and handle patients potentially infected with the virus. More than a third claimed their hospitals didn't have enough safety supplies, including eye protection and fluid resistant gowns. The survey results were announced on Sunday, just after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed that a health worker in Texas had tested positive for the virus. The CDC's director, Thomas Frieden cited a "breach of protocol" as the likely reason. Now—as agency officials scramble to figure out just what that breach was—nurses are pushing back. On Monday, NNU nurses in red shirts rallied in Oakland, Calif. with signs reading, "Stop Blaming Nurses. Stop Ebola."

"We have been surveying nurses for almost two months about Ebola preparedness," Charles Idelson, an NNU spokesman, said Monday. "What these survey results clearly indicate is that hospitals are still not doing enough to be properly prepared to respond." The CDC has announced plans to deploy an Ebola response team "within hours" at any hospital where an Ebola patient is admitted. At a press conference, Frieden said the agency is responding to calls from hospitals that are underprepared to handle the crisis.
About damn time! I don't blame the nurses for being angry that they are the scapegoats here! If the military personnel we recently sent to West Africa know what to do, why aren't medical personnel here getting the same instructions? We are sending "response teams to any hospital where an Ebola patient is admitted?" What happens if 500 hospitals all call for help at the same time? As usual, we are not being proactive, but operating piecemeal on a case by case basis! With the internet available, why haven't detailed instructions already been sent to every hospital in this country? No one knows where the next Ebola patient is going to show up, for chrissake! Winging it on Ebola isn't going to work! Order the "Ebola czar" to start earning the hefty salary she is being paid!

Does this qualify as spreading the virus ?
No. It's still in the circle of first contact.

That is a good idea also, since Doctors Without Borders needs it a lot more than the CDC. The CDC's budget is well over 6 Billion. I read the Doctors Without Borders is about 400 million, and about 80% of that comes from private donors.

People upset that Ebola is spreading, nurses not given proper training, workers not having equipment. Guy gives $25 million to help fight this disease and help prepare workers to keep it from spreading. People complain and say what he should have done.

Zuckerberg should be applauded for this.
