When there evidence that ACTUALLY establishes the facts that fraud exist, then everyone should be concerned. If you read the article posted about Morris' claim, to it's conclusion, you would have seen that the claims were false. Mr. Morris is known to be a frequent source of false claims. Only dead people aren't able to catch him in his dishonest political games.

As far a the Zavala Co case (voters about 8400) - if there is indeed a problem, which an article claims there is, the county is so small that any misconduct could be easily resolved. If that county is crooked, that is NOT an automatic form of evidence that the remaining 253 Texas Counties are guilty.

It's naive to think that we live in a country that has a political system that is free of illegal activities. But what's been pointed out...in a lot of cases...the same conclusion that the Morris Article pointed out. And that's in my following post after the one you replied to. You might want to read it.

What I won't accept is hysteria without evidence. The poster who I replied to offered very lame evidence. In fact, he post an article that he only read what he wanted in order to make his point, but it came back to bite him the ass because he didn't read the outcome of that article. The purpose of the article was actually a fact finding site, which in the end refuted Dick Morris' claims.

The overall claims of vote tampering across the nation isn't a one sided situation. I have no love for either parties. And I want to see justice done wherever and to whomever has attempted or has altered our system in such a way to actually change outcomes. When I see such evidence that either side has committed an act to favor itself in elections. Then I'll say, "fry the bastards".

I say in addition to voter ID, I'd like to see absentee ballots noterized, or in some way verified. Then we could knock off the "magic" discovery of just enough votes to tilt elections.

    A followup to this story,
Texas DPS continues to issue voter IDs | Denton Record Chronicle | News for Denton County, Texas
To qualify for a certificate, which is free and valid for six years,
an applicant must bring documentation to verify U.S. citizenship and identity,
be eligible to vote in Texas, be a Texas resident and be 17 years and 10 months or older.

Why wait, when we can take measures to minimize it now?

Oh great, now watch all the low turnout and voter suppression in Texas when all the dead people decide to stay home on election day!!
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he stops voting for the Free Fish party.

Alrighty then. With regard to your question as to whether or not I'm retarded. Possibly, but not ignorant. How about you?

You think we might need to start minimizing the chance of extraterrestrial invasion despite the lack of evidence there might be one?

Have you ever heard the old saying, "if it's not broke, don't fix it"? So far there's no credible evidence that something is broke as a result of voter sabotage. If there was, then there are technologies and authorizes that exist that can detect methods used and ultimately disclose these phantom voters.

I suggest that somebody better come up with verifiable proof that our voting systems are clearly are unsecured or ineffective in such ways that it allows for certain groups, parties, or individuals to be capable, at will, of controlling the outcome of political contest.

Where is the irrefutable evidence that is clear to all persons, regardless of political lean?

Now, if evidence prevails. And a genuine need for substantially more secure voting methods is clear - then it needs to be done in a way that doesn't discriminate against any group or minority. That means insuring that those who might fall under such categories will be assisted in obtaining whatever is necessary to meet whatever standard is set to make voting more secure.

That will cost taxpayers. Taxpayers must be willing to go to any length to protect all citizens right to vote, regardless of sex, age, race, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, or ethic heritage.

Do you, without reservations, believe everything our government tells us? Do you believe everything that your party is telling all of it's supporters - regardless of the party name? For those who do believe everything governments and parties say...then that might fall under the category of being retarded, in some people's opinion. I prefer to believe such persons fall under the ignorant category.
