Poll: Many insured struggle with medical bills

The left could care less-the ACA was about making them feel good, largely as a step to socialized medicine (they think it will be free, and magically better).

The fact that real people are really hurting isn't part of the equation.

It is this part of the cynical liberal/progressive mind that should be exposed...They really don't care one little bit about people at all, just how they can use them.

Well come on to Albuquerque and I'll show you our medical costs for the last few years and introduce you to some folks who might be persuaded to show you theirs. Along with some other very obvious evidence to back up the personal experience that I related. You'll have a hell of a time proving that I lied about my own experience. But you made a whole bunch of claims that I didn't make. So why don't you get busy and find some credible sources to back up your claims? Take your time, though, because I honestly don't care what anybody thinks who accuses somebody of lying when he has no clue about what they have experienced.

Wow. This is part of the problem with people today. You have people experiencing things, directly experiencing them, and then others discount what they are experiencing because they read a report online that says everything is fine.

I'll admit that it's possible that he is now paying twice as much as he used to. After all, there are plenty of businesses that will let their customers overpay for a product. However, since prices did not double in NM, if he's paying double it's his own fault for not shopping around for a better deal. It's not ACA's fault he's being taken for a ride.

Indeed. Obama/big government worship and political correctness seem to trump common sense these days. If anybody reports something that doesn't fit the assigned talking points, that person is accused of lying. In my opinion, defense of the indefensible and/or intentional refusal to consider the honest consequences is the primary reason everything is so messed up these days.

We are overpaying for the govt and it is its own kind of business. And since the ACA was presented quie differently than what its become it has indeed taken the American people for a ride-and the people who sold the lie are set to lose in the 2014 mid terms only a few weeks off.

Can we also agree that reports can show what they want them to show, and not necessarily the complete picture?

The real people crap like this hurts are insignificant to progressives as long as stats can be manipulated to dismiss any dissent of the end goal.

Those ruined along the way matter not to them...

Party of the people my ass.

Yes, but I stand by my claim that if his premiums have doubled, he's doing something wrong and it's his fault not ACA's.

Either that, or there's something he's not telling us.

I wish I shared your confidence about that. So much of the American public is so dumbed down and so gullible to believe what they read on internet propaganda sites or other medium, that I have no confidence they will vote with any more intelligence next month than they have voted in the last two elections.
