Soros to Host Fundraiser for ‘Independent’ Kansas Senate Candidate

Kansas Senate hopeful Greg Orman insists that he is not beholden to the Democratic Party, but a major Democratic donor is hosting a fundraiser for his campaign to unseat Republican incumbent Sen. Pat Roberts.

So here we have one of the most blatant of Liberal/Progressive political deception, and outright lie in today's political climate. Greg Orman has all kinds of ads on Kansas TV, promising, that he is not a democrat, even though up until this election cycle he WAS exactly that.

Now, enter Soros. He needs to get his money into his stooge running against Roberts so at the very least he can fracture the vote, to give the liberal a chance. So, does Soros come right out and make it clear that he is backing this faux independent? No.

Soros thinks so little of the American voter, and thinks they are so stupid that he sends his son to do the fundraising, so that if any question comes up he at least has the narrowest of denials of involvement....

Crap like this, coupled with demo's long time election fraud of using absentee ballots to tip elections, and the outright corruption we see today from liberals in the process, my question is will the American electorate wake up? I don't know.
Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.

God, the right wings obsession with Soros is almost as bad as the Left Wings obsession with the Koch brothers.

I gotta say, this might actually cause more damage than help. Orman is running as an independent and an uber-progressive billionaire sweeping in hold a fundraiser for him, doubt those on the fence (who are actually engaged) will be swayed too far towards Orman with his.

Good. Pat Roberts has no place to represent Kansans especially since he lives in VIRGINIA.

He's a Nazi that helped hunt down Jews during Holocaust and a convicted criminal. Why wouldn't someone crticize him?

Democrat: a member of the Democratic party

Holy ****, by definition, Orman is, in fact, not a member of the democratic party, and as such, not a democrat.

And if you look at his stance on the issues, you will see that does not blanket support democratic positions. He supports a simpler, flatter, lower tax rate with every one paying some taxes. That is not a democratic position, and in fact very conservative. Revamping corporate tax system to lower corporate taxes, that tends to be a republican position, and one he supports. Cutting federal spending, republican position. His website discussing his postions even addresses who he will caucus with: Issues - Greg Orman for Senate

If I 'm elected, there’s a reasonable chance that neither party would have a majority in the US Senate. If that is the case, I will work with the other independent Senators to caucus with the party that is most willing to face our country’s difficult problems head on and advance our problem-solving, non-partisan agenda.

When it comes time to support a candidate for Majority Leader, I' ll encourage both parties to select a leader who has a demonstrated track record of working across the aisle as one indicator of his or her willingness to solve problems. I 'll also look at responsible leaders from both sides like Democrat Heidi Heitkamp and Republican Lisa Murkowski who are willing to cross party lines to vote for what is right.
Both Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell have been too partisan for far too long to earn my vote for Majority Leader.

With that said, if one party is clearly in the majority, I will seek to caucus with the party that was in the majority as that would be in the best interest of the state of Kansas.
But caucusing with a party does not mean voting with them on every issue. My vote to caucus with a party is dependent on their willingness to seek common-ground solutions to our nation' s problems. That means I will vote on each bill individually, based on the content of the proposed legislation.
My first and only allegiance is to the people of Kansas -- not a political party -- so should the caucus I join fall into bad behavior, I will represent the people of Kansas appropriately and vote on the merits of the legislation instead of how party bosses demand. I will always seek common sense solutions while maintaining my independence from either the Republicans or Democrats.
So despite your rather lame and weak attempts to try and label him, he is what he is, and that is not really a republican and not really a democrat. It is kinda sad and pathetic that some feel the need to slap a label on a person as it is easier to argue against a label than against what a person actually stands for. And doing it using guilt by association is particularly weak. If I lived in Kansas I would certainly support Orman over Roberts in that Orman matches my stance on issues closer than Roberts. That does not make Orman a democrat though, and some of his stances I find simplistic or just wrong. He is not my ideal candidate, but is better for me than Roberts.

Did you get that from the same chain email that says Obama is a Muslim?
