Not for long. Laws of the US are subject to review by the federal courts to ensure that they abide by the US Constitution. A judge has already struck down Alaska's law, and given this past week's decision by the SCOTUS and the decisions that have been made by Circuit Courts so far, I doubt it will last long, if it really is still in effect at all.

Partially due to how we calculate marriage rate. We include anyone 15 or older, which is outdated, even when it comes to our laws, which in many states do not allow 15 year olds to marry. Some states don't even allow anyone under 18 to marry.

Plus, many people are putting off marriage til they are older. Which is better for them and society overall. This means that we need to redo how we calculate marriage mainly.

I'm not sure an older population having children is a good thing.

They might, but my point is with SSM legal marriage should be on the rise.

Older than teens and out of college definitely is a good thing. It is much harder to raise children with no money. And even if you had kids at 30, they would still be adults before you turned 50. It isn't good to have children past 35, but that still gives you almost 15 years to have children between college and around the time where it starts becoming much more risky.

God you are just full of sad and pathetic fallacies.

Tell me more about how Two consenting adults are comparable to an adult trying to foster an sexually intimate relationship with a child. A child being, through psychological scientific consensus, utterly unable to navigate such a relationship without serious damage to their psyche.

    Point out the similarities please.

Your game of semantics won't work here buddy. But judging by you sad attempts at defending you atrociously ridiculous post, I'll spell out what I meant - though I'm sure you already knew.

Adult Non- Pedophilia Non-Beastiliac Homosexual Men and Women who are Attracted to Other Adults of their own Sex Do Not have the Right to Pursue Marriage with Those That They Truly Have the Capacity to Love and Be Attracted To. Conversely Heterosexual Adults Do Have This Right.

So When You Claim that Heterosexuals and Homosexuals Have the Same Right You are Blatantly Incorrect.

Again, heterosexual marriage has been on the delince for quite a while and despite SSM being legal in many places that doesn't mean that SS couples are just going to go get married because they can anymore than heterosexuals would.

    Why not, they've been waiting?

Some have been waiting, and when legal they're getting married. Others aren't ready to get married now and some never will get married.

    And....?

The law of Alaska will not be amended for a while, even if it is ignored.
