    I am tired of you.

If we do not grant permission for someone to travel to the US they cannot travel with the US as a destination. I do not care if they go elsewhere.

"I want it to run its course in Ebola country. I do not want the US to become a part of Ebola country."

Yes. I am convinced that it is not in our national interest. We can prevent people from Ebola country from coming here. We have not business sending 4,000 American troops there to build field hospitals. That is their problem. It is not our problem.

If it becomes necessary, they can secure *people* and control transportation there. It wont be popular with their govt...but HEY! It would be in our national best interests!

(I noted that you chose not to go all 'na huh' and just cut this one out completely.)
Are you claiming, indirectly, that the troops are going to seize power and prevent people from leaving Ebola country?

    I am not surprised.

America. Land of the free, and the home of the completely terrified.

Get grip. Its a virus that you can control exposure to, not a boogeyman. You dont need to restrict travel of asyptomatic people. You dont need to be afraid to send people to Sierra Leone. You need to man up and do whats needed.
Many Trump supporters have lots of problems, and those deplorables are bringing those problems to us. They’re racists. They’re misogynists. They’re islamophobic. They're xenophobes and homophobes. And some, I assume, are good people.

Where does that virus reside? In people. How long does it take for someone infected with Ebola to reach the point where the carrier becomes contagious?

I have made no claims whatsoever that we need to stop people from going to Ebola country. If you want to go to Ebola country you have my blessing and even my encouragement. But do not plan on returning until you are confirmed clear of the virus.

"Man up"? Maybe you should leave this adult discussion to the adults.

I had dinner with an aunt the other night. She's got Fox News on constantly, although CNN hasn't been any better on this issue from what I saw at my mother in law's a week ago.

Anyway, she actually got angry at me for pushing back at her irrational fears over Ebola. One example was her being terrified that my wife is flying on a plane that stops in DALLAS!!!! OH NOOOO EBOLA!!! My wife left yesterday - took along a bottle of hand sanitizer. Good advice for any flight, anywhere, at any time. She'll be fine.

It's a shame that this kind of fear mongering gets eyeballs and sells ads. Our major 'news' outlets are no better than National Enquirer anymore.

You guys are exaggerating the public's response to Ebola for some reason.

I haven't seen one perdon who fits the description of being " completely terrified " yet

My aunt was worked up about it.... What can I say? My brother told my mother he was rethinking his trip here during December based on EBOLA!! fears, but to be fair I think he's full of crap and just doesn't want to make the trip.

Probably because he avoids contact with vomit, urine and feces as a routine measure.

So the question is, why do you thing YOURE at risk?
