A strategy is what one devises when one wants to win wars. What you have described is a deception being run against the American people. It is intended to give the appearance of something being done without imperiling his Islamofascist buddies.

So a new crusade? Great strategy.
The first step to devising a winning strategy is to determine the nature of the war one finds oneself confronting. As we frequently get this step wrong we frequently fail to win our wars. Pay attention. I am trying to teach you something.

No. Your trying to tell me a new crusade is needed.

I had thought you might not be teachable. No problem. I shall not cast my pearls before swine (its scriptural, you probably won't get the reference).

LOL. Every war is different. Successful strategies must be frequently refreshed.

Developing a strategy is far more than simply declaring a war.

First, what is the problem we are trying to solve? In many cases this is the hardest of the questions to answer.

[QUOTE=TheDemSocialist;1063858996]We have been told over and over again intervention will solve all our problems. Korea, it didnt solve anything, Vietnam it didnt, Iraq it didnt, know we need to repeat the same strategy over again. When will we learn?
We are not experiencing the boomerange effect.[/QUOT]

    Korea, we were winning...
    Vietname, we were winning....
    Iraq, we were winning...

The only reason we won battles, but lost the war, was because we did not have the resolve to fight them.
    - There was never a good war, or a bad peace.
    - Idealistically, everything should work as you planed it to. Realistically, it depends on how idealistic you are as to the measure of success.
    - Better to be a pessimist before, and an optimist afterwords.
