Seriously it should be easy for them to verify if the suspect had fired the gun.

If you read some of the stuff the moonbats are saying about this it would blow your mind. The general consensus at DailyKos, for example, is that the cop stalked the kids, attacked them and then put his "drop gun" in the kids hand and pulled the trigger a couple of times to make it all look convincing. So far I haven't seen anyone speculate that the cop then stole and ate the kids sandwich to get rid of the evidence but I figure that's coming next.

Right. And all of this occurred with no one seeing a damn thing. Somehow his mom knew her son was carrying a sandwich, though. These people are amazing.

"Amazing" isn't the word I was thinking of.

The two got into a "physical alteration" that pulled off the suspect's gray-hooded sweater. As the teenager ran away, grabbing at his waist, Dotson said, the officer felt that the teenager was carry a firearm.

Dotson said, however, that the unidentified officer, a six-year veteran of the St. Louis police force, did not open fire because "he wanted to be certain it was a gun."

At one point, he said, the suspect turned and "pointed the gun at the officer and fired at least three rounds at the officer." He said the suspect tried to continue firing, but his gun jammed.

The officer responded by firing at least 17 rounds at the suspect, killing him. The officer was not injured.

Dotson said a 9mm Ruger handgun, allegedly belonging to the suspect, was recovered at the scene and a forensics search located three projectiles that had been fired at the officer.

"An investigation will decide if the officer's behavior was appropriate," the police chief told reporters.

Dotson did not identify the victim but said he "was no stranger to law enforcement."

His name was Vonderrit D. Myers, and your post is BS because his mother said he was holding a sandwich. MSNBC has it on their home page. It was just a sandwich.

When did sandwiches come with rounds anyway?

The cop was supposed wait until he actually hit--maybe even twice--before returning fire.

I see nothing that the cop did wrong here. Evidence show that "The Kid" fired his weapon. IMO, if you have a gun on you then all bets are off. The cop has the right to protect his life. As far as riots are concern, there shouldn't be any. If it is then it is by a hand full people who don't care about the truth. Kind of like Birthiers.

Now trying to link this story to the Brown case is total BS. There are too many holes in that case that bothers me. This one appears to be straight forward. Lets just move on please.

    What's the over/under on riots?

Also, why did CNN & AP decide that this time an 18 year old was a "man"?
Well this one is a lot different since the kid was armed and shooting at the cops. You can't shoot at folk and expect them to not shoot back.
