No, I'm just talking about Michelle Nunns ad campaign. I'm tired of having to watch the exact same "Perdue hates women" ad for weeks on end. With this little bit of news she has the opportunity to run on two important issues. Perdue hates women AND America. Probably puppies, too.

    This is ridiculous hyperbole:
Yes, yes it is. The Nunn campaign in a nutshell.

And you'll get to vote twice for Senator--enjoy the billion dollar runoff through the Christmas season--as with the one in LA.
As you vote for a Senator the day after the Senate has reconvened.
Too bad we don't have fifty different runoffs huh?

The smart money says the Senate will not be decided the day after the November election .

The one everyone agrees we need!

After the election, it will be back to campaigning for 2016 for your GOP and nothing will get done--
unless new Ways and Means Chair Paul Ryan has his way .

Because it transfers wealth. As a nation we don't get the same amount of wealth transferred back.

Not necessarily. By replacing old jobs with new ones, you are creating wealth.

There are many high and low paying jobs that owe their existence to exporting.

So in a time when Americans are needing jobs, he's proud of them losing jobs and going overseas. Now, while I agree businesses will do that to save the bottom line, it is not something I would say "I'm proud of" while running for a senate position.

So is using the cheapest possible labour that one can

    Ie illegal immigrants

Simple economics and business. Before you say it is illegal, it could be changed to allow open boarders and the free trade of labour

We have a huge trade deficit and have had one for decades. The net result of that is a net transfer of wealth away from the U.S. By the way, the chicken came before the egg. Jobs don't create wealth. Jobs are created because wealth was created and a business needs more people to continue the process. In your scenario a company could simply hire people to enjoy more wealth when the opposite is more likely.

Re: Senate candidate proud of outsourcing job record

Purdue, as are many, if not most, conservatives, blame government regulation for outsourcing.
But Purdue fails to take at least some blame for his own failures.
Perdue referred to his time as head of Pillowtex as a trying experience.

The Pillowtex collapse laid off 7,650 workers in the United States and Canada, about 4,800 in North Carolina alone. At the time, it was the largest single layoff in state history.
I would like to hear the man's proposals regarding government regulations to make them more business friendly. What shall we do? Pay slave labor, do away with OSHA, the EPA and, of course the unions just to make sure that CEOs and business owners make max profit on the backs of their workers?
How low are we willing to sate the elite?
Of course at the current rate, we must anticipate that, eventually, even China and India's workers will rally for living wages. So what then? Where will we outsource to next?

Outsourcing has its perks and creates more jobs than keeping some of these jobs at home.

    - Cheap products create a larger demand - hence more employees at stores to help customers and ring them up at the counter which in turn creates more of a demand for new cash registers.

    - Truckers ship more goods due to the demand.
    - More fuel is sold
    - More mileage on the trucks means more more business for mechanics.
    - More store displays, advertising and even more trucks are built to transport these goods..

    Outsourcing is fantastic..

Every job outsourced opens up 10 more jobs in the US.

Now do you want one or two US citizens making these products or do you want to see an entire economic boom that comes with cheap goods.
