Getting back to the subject of the thread, I fully respect the people of Pennsylvania and those most directly affected by the crash of flight 93 who went to the trouble of honouring the brave people who died in this particular crash and potentially saved a large number of other lives in the process. Their work in honouring these people shouldn't be trashed by ignorant and insensitive garbage spewed by posters here who've got nothing better to do than troll and bait as part of some mental deficiency in action.
A Canadian conservative is one who believes in limited government and that the government should stay out of our wallets and out of our bedrooms.
I'm glad no one was hurt in the fire.
According to a news report, administrative buildings, not the memorial itself, was burned, and that did result in the loss of a few artifacts.
The memorial itself is made up mostly of stone slabs and concrete. There's not much that could have been burned.
In any case, this thread is testament to the fact that the Internet is a place where no matter how somber the topic some piece of trash will show up to s*** on it.
In other news, internet trolls shown scientifically to be narcissists, psychopaths and sadists. Trolls will lie, exaggerate, and offend to get a response.
“We do not believe any group of men adequate enough or wise enough to operate without scrutiny or without criticism. We know that the only way to avoid error is to detect it, that the only way to detect it is to be free to inquire. We know that in secrecy error undetected will flourish and subvert”. – J Robert Oppenheimer.
