The one at the west suburban Villa Park's Odeum Expo Center opened last weekend with a special attraction that's already causing controversy -- a so-called ‘Gacy room,'where an actor dressed in Gacy's pogo the clown costume sits on a couch surrounded by dolls dressed like Boy Scouts.

Poor taste? I'm going to check it out next week. Could be the clown from It. Who knows..

A little in poor taste yeah but that's a haunted house for you, that's kind of what they do. It sounds creepy as hell to me and I'd probably go check it out. That women in the video who says they are just doing it for money is right and really just giving them more publicity to make more money.
 
Depends on who you are I guess. Could be considered poor taste if you have some kind of connection to Gacy. Otherwise most haunted houses try to push things to the extreme. Haunted Houses like this are usually not for your average visitor anyway. Folks who visit these type of houses are looking for realism and extreme.

I would go see it if I were closer.

Not at all. When I was a child Bozo scared the ****e out of me. Something about adults in grease-paint and over-sized shoes is nightmarish.
