Not from those African countries, from the United States. As I said, "Americans who are working off-shore and coming in." There are lots of Americans who work off-shore.

Obama STILL hasn't banned flights into the heartland of the US from Liberia.

I thought Duncan's flight was from Liberia to Brussels and from Brussels to the U.S.

His point of origin would have been stamped on his Passport.

My point was that Duncan's flight wasn't from Liberia into the heartland.

Yes, I got that and I realize travel from Liberia or just in General West Africa wouldn't exactly be a straight shot into the heartland.

But, all the information needed to ban travel out of Ebola ground zero is contained in those travelers passports.

Honestly, its OUT OF CONTROL over there

The CDC thinks of Customs as their First line of defense.

Someone hasn't given the order to place the needed restrictions to protect American public safety yet.

For those keeping score: Mortar round lands within a kilometer of Ben Gurion airport and the WH orders a ban on flights to Israel. Ebola victims flying into major US cities... keep the airports open?

More than that, there would be a traceable digital record of the point of origin for all passengers.

If we leave the flights open and allow free access to the US then what happens if/when the carrier is a willing host and specifically avoids the hospital in order to expose the largest number of people?

The nightmare scenario would be a host landing in a major city, spreading the disease among public transit passengers and then going off somewhere to die quietly. Without the knowledge of the vectoring host there would be no quarantine.

And the paranoia will soon begin?
    Paranoia?

Paranoia is an unfounded fear. With how it spreads - if you're concerned then, no, it's not a matter of paranoia but common sense and safety.

It has happened before, but there is nothing to compare it to now.

The well oiled machine of government has conflicting regulations on treating contaminated materials, leaving hospital linens to pile up as they wait for a clear direction...

This is why government sucks, folks. It so paralyzes those on the front lines that they can't even show the initiative to burn contaminated sheets without waiting for bureaucrats to get their heads out of their asses.
