And the paranoia will soon begin?
Precaution is not the same thing as paranoia...

Why are you implying paranoia? For the public? We already know the guy is here and didnt get to the hospital in a self-contained, negative-pressure hamster ball.

What would be nice is if none of the 80 people come down with Ebola and the public sees that it's not easily transmissible.
    I implied nothing.

    I simply asked a question.

    Good evening MMC

That is just one case started all of this.

I tell you, if terrorists REALLY want to freak America out, they should send a bunch of their types - the more western looking and English-speaking ones - to Africa and deliberately get infected. Then smuggle themselves into America and start infecting as many people as they can.
It would be a different type of suicide bomber.

I assume (and hope) U.S. authorities have thought of this possibility as well.

    No excrement.

I was asking a question about the future, not commenting about the precautions.

What about them? Offshore of America or Africa?

Offshore America is pretty easy to assess...did anyone from those African countries affected visit there?

Well you picked something....paranoia...for your question. It wasnt precaution, caution, interest, etc. It wasnt, 'how do you think the public will react?' So it was a leading question, if nothing else.

I guess I went in the direction I was lead.

OP's quip about paranoia is annoying. But you are topping it by suggesting measures which are not only insanely ridiculous but impossible to enforce.

I've been in favor of eliminating all immigration for years now. Because:
    1. We have 300,000,000 and don't need more, and,
    2. Getting a plague isn't on my bucket list.

How about we put a travel ban on travel to the country and from the country to the US
