I think we're safe from hurricanes, but those volcanoes are notoriously unpredictable.
I'm staying in Kauai--no active volcanoes.

I heard Charo has a restaurant down there in Kauai.....she use to be hottie back in the day. Don't know if it is still there. But it was a great place. Hope ya have a great time.

Oh, and don't forget to take a Bio-Hazard Suit with ya when ya return......the Air Port Terminal may be under Quarantine.

Anybody ever play that game called "Pandemic" where you get to create a disease and then modify it while you try to infect and kill the whole world before they find a cure? One of the first things that happens after the disease is discovered is that countries shut down air travel and shipping ports. Greenland and Madagascar usually survive. Who needs bombs? Infect a few willing martyrs and walk them across the open southern border. Easy peazy. I recommend avoiding the salad bar if you live in a border state.

    Thanks.
Is Charo the young babe who was married to the old fart bandleader.
I'm fairly certain Charo would be the old fart now.
I'll google her possible great restaurant.

    Well, it IS Hawaii.....
I'd rather be quarantined in Hawaii than Liberia.

Seems Dallas authorities are having a hard time finding folks willing to clean the apartment of Thomas Duncan.

I actually met Charo and Xavier Cugat once when I was a kid. They drove up to this restaurant in a beige Rolls and rolled right out of it like they belonged wherever they were. And I suppose they did. If you're into showmanship, they had it in spades. I was 14, and she was HOT. Xavier was an old man even back then, but he still had the flair the big band image required.

Yeah, and I think she had plastic surgery on her face.....she has to be like close to 70 or 75 now. So no.....not so great looking now.

    Charo is only 63....allegedly.
Sometimes plastic surgery just makes people look weird.
    Charo's restaurant is gone too.
She probably had to hock it to pay the plastic surgeons.
Aloha, MMC....I'll keep you posted on the emerging Ebola crisis in Hawaii.
