(CNN) -- The investigation into the controversial shooting death of unarmed teenager Michael Brown by a police officer in a St. Louis suburb has been completed, the St. Louis County prosecutor's office said Wednesday.

    [...]

"The investigation has been basically completed that is being conducted by both the FBI and St. Louis County PD," Ed Magee, the spokesman for the prosecutor's office, told CNN.

I wonder when they will release the results?
What is the point of announcing the investigation is finished if the results are not released with such an announcement?
Is this just bait for FOIA requests?

If they recommended prosecution of the cop we'd already know the results.

If this leak really happened, then apparently they need to redo the entire grand jury investigation from what I heard on Morning Joe.

So the options are: Either the grand jury was not compromised in which case we'll hear the results in mid-November (why would it take this long?)

    Or

The grand jury was compromised and it will have to be repeated - in which case we may not know a grand jury verdict until next year.

    Swell.

He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute.” - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

You guys might as well relax. I already know the end of this story. Its like a old sitcom rerun playing since the 50s.

Time may not heal all wounds, but this case may benefit from a little extra time.
For the sake of discussion, if there is not enough evidence to indictment.
Delay until some other news is big will help.
If there is an indictment, delay will help the defendant have a fair trial.

    Swell.
If, and that is a big "if", the juror compromised their self, there is no need to start over, they just continue to go forward with the eleven.

1.) The tweet did not say that that the juror told her that. It just contained two statements.
2.) How in the world is revealing a statement of fact, that there is not enough at this time to indict, a compromise of the Jury?
3.) The GJ can still move forward with just eleven.

So while this is being investigated, in reality it is basically much ado about nothing.

Btw, a recent poll done by MSNBC asking "Should officer Darren Wilson, who shot Michael Brown, be arrested?", indicates that 78% of the respondents think he shouldn't be arrested.

I think there are 2 possible reasons why the didn't announce the results:

    1. They are probably trying to come up with a plan on how to deal with the inevitable rioting, looting, arson and violence. before they announce that no charges will be filed against the officer and all hell breaks loose...

    2. They are trying to figure out how they are going to justify filing charges against the officer with no evidence that supports an indictment, and hide the fact that they are filing charges against him not because they believe he did anything wrong, but becuase they want to prevent (at least for now) the folks in Ferguson from burning the entire town to the ground... Which will happen anyway after the trial ends and the not guilty verdict is read.

You mean how they don't indict people without evidence, or how most people sent to trial who didn't do anything wrong, aren't convicted and sent to prison?
