There is a close election for Senate being held in North Carolina, and the Koch Brothers are going all out to invalidate voters by giving them false information. The return envelope that they are supposed to send their voter registration back in even has the wrong zip code, thus ensuring that the voter would end up not being registered, and the "contact us" phone number is also wrong. These mailers have also been sent out to people at the wrong addresses, have been sent to deceased people, one of them having died when she was 4 years old, and even sent to someone's cat. As a result, there has been mayhem, and the State of North Carolina has opened an official investigation into the conduct of Americans for Prosperity.RALEIGH — Hundreds of North Carolinians – and one cat – have received incorrect voter registration information, according to the N.C. State Board of Elections.
The information – an “official application form” – was sent by Americans for Prosperity, a national conservative group with a state chapter based in Raleigh.
Since then, hundreds of people who received the forms have called and complained to the State Board of Elections, said Joshua Lawson, a public information officer for the board.
If it can be shown that this Koch Brothers front group is doing this on purpose, then this should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and those responsible should go to prison, since it is a felony to purposefully mislead voters.
