I see. It is unprofessional for police officers to show support for a police officer who was injured in the line of duty by a thug and subsequently injured by a corrupt federal attorney general?

Where is the law or policy that says they can't?

The only apparent racism has been by the perp, and his supporting cast of criminals who have smashed windows, set things on fire and in general have been nuisances. The attorney general supports the criminal element against the police.

If there has been any evidence against the police officer the AG would have already come to the cameras and sang like a canary. He hasn't. Has he?

I'm not sure who you're talking about, but who I was referring to were police officers, hired by the city to serve the community including the many engaged in peaceful protests as is their right as an American.

Impressive. You have pronounced that you are on the side of federal intimidation.

What about the rest off you leftists? It does fall in line with the rest of your thinking about individual liberty versus central statist control of everything.

I do. They have put up with the race baiter Obama and the race baiting democratic party.

When you're dealing with an irrational element, yes, it is unprofessional. This is a clear-cut example where wisdom and forethought needs to trump emotion. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
If you claim sexual harassment to be wrong, yet you defend anyone on your side for any reason,
then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble.

While wearing a uniform, on duty, yes, it's unprofessional to take sides in an active investigation that is the subject of protests by the community THEY SERVE.

Re: Justice Department tellsFerguson police tostopwearing bracelets

If the PD decides to put it in their policy that the police officers cannot wear the item, I have no problem with that as it is their right to do so in running their stations.

The question that I ask is why is the DOJ involved in asking the PD to do anything with their uniforms?

Where is it in the realm of the DOJ to even ask for this? It is unprofessional for the DOJ to get involved in this micromanaging manner IMO.

If the DOJ was asking in private we would be unaware of it. How did we come to find out the DOJ was "asking" the police to not support their fellow officer?
