Yes, Putin plays chess while NATO plays checkers. He annexed Crimea and has a foothold in Ukraine. He's in a position of strength in determining Ukraine's future, while EU and NATO pussyfooted around for the last year. One thing about Russians is they stick to their plan, adapt it and will ask for X amount when in reality they just want a smaller amount. They never go into a situation expecting to start a full blown war but rather getting what they want.

Take the Cuban missile crisis. Soviets wanted missiles out of Turkey and figured out a way to annoy the US, missiles in Cuba. Soviets never seriously thought of putting missiles in Cuban hands but rather used Cuba's location to get what they want.

Furthermore; the referendum was an overt war crime, it was conducted through a Russian Spec Ops installed government who were hold up in the Kiev Parliament holding Rocket Launchers and AK's during a swearing in ceremony for their so called "Prime Minister" and likewise it was conducted not only through an occupation government but through an illegal foreign military occupation as well, and the 97 Percent yay vote for secession was laughable as were the choices give IE there was no choice to maintain the status quo but only to either join Russia or be independent.
Yet Ukraine can removed a President illegally (failed to have 3/4ths majority). Can't have it both ways.

There's only one way to read that which is defense of East Ukraine which Putin refers to as New Russia equates to him as legitimate reason to start a nuclear war.

Third I do not support ethnic divisions of any sort. I support THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE. Actually I am totally against racism, and think its one of the few things the ppl should not b able to vote for. I think hate speech should be a jailable offense for example...
And yet you have done nothing but support the annexation of the Crimea which is sovereign Ukrainian territory under the guise of a fraudulent and illegal referendum conducted under illegal occupation, through an occupier installed government, along ethnic lines. Tell us another one. The will of the Ukrainian people was not to have their territory annexed through illegal military conquest.

who is outnumbered? Proof? No? Ok then.
The 58 members of the UNGA who abstained, the 24 who were not there, and the 11 who voted no which is a none point anyways considering that an abstention was as good as a yay vote since it was clear the resolution was going to pass by a wide margin.

Again I am not a nationalist. I am a populist. if you don't know the diff that's not my issue.
You are supporting the separation of territory from a state based on an ethnic division you are a radical nationalist by definition.

If this were in dvorscheck i would say its wrong as I don't think they have majority their. In crimea I think they do.
Even if they did the Crimea is sovereign Ukrainian territory so until the majority of UKRAINIANS support its secession then only an extreme minority supports it, this referendum under foreign military occupation was no more legitimate than a ethnic majority neighborhood in California voting to join Mexico, IE it is not legitimate in the slightest.

The majority of Parliament voted for his ouster but way to support a man who ordered the murder of innocent civilians by sniper fire for having the audacity to peacefully protest.

    Absolutely 100% incorrect.

A clearly ridiculous proposition promoted on a clearly ridiculous website and posted by a poster that seems to take the clearly ridiculous seriously...... I am not certain this is worth anyone's time.

    556. Petro-dollar, the cause of Iran war (7/4/08)

People think the nuclear ambition of Iran is the reason for Iran war. That is only right on Israel's part. For US part, it is petro-dollar.

US dollar is appointed currency in oil trading. Because the oil trade is a huge business, a large amount of dollar is locked up in that trade. That money is called petro-dollar. Why it is so important to US? Because it acts as a long term none interest loan The prosperous US economy partly was based on the petro-dollar - a long term loan without interest. Let me depict it in this way:

US bought a house from Japan (whom represents the oil customers of Iran) for one million dollars. US also bought another house from France (whom represents other oil customers of OPEC) for one million dollars. Japan and France use these two million dollars as fund to buy oil. The money was used in oil trading circle and never back to US. US enjoys the two houses almost free. He doesn't have to pay monthly mortgage payment. Not a penny for interest, nor for principle. All the cost was the printing of a green back paper. However, that green back paper - petro dollar, is still a debit note. How long is it? So far it's more than forty years - since dollar became the appointed oil trade currency.

But suddenly, Iran refuses to accept dollar. Japan has to ask US to exchange that one million dollar into Euro or yen. What US can do is: 1. to get the dollar back by export more merchandise. But he is not able to. He has a trade deficit already. 2. To get the dollar back with gold or foreign currency reserve. But he hasn't that much reserve. 3. To lock up that extra one million dollar in US Bond by raising the interest rate to attract the buyer. But he unwilling to do it. There is a sub-prime crisis in real estate market. Any interest increase will further devalue the house. Feds holds a large amount of real estates in my case, they don't allow such thing to happen. So to solve the problem, they go to the fourth option. 4. By pushing up the oil price.

France (other oil consumption countries) keeps one million dollar as oil trading fund. How much does he need if the oil price doubled? Two million. Thus the one million dollar Japan abandoned is absorbed by France. That's why the oil price jumped like crazy in recent days - a tricky way to keep US dollar from collapsing.

US has to pay for high oil price too. Ordinary people bear the cost. But the high oil price will hurt the economy. The condition won't last long. So war on Iran is unavoidable.

Of course, US is a "democratic" country. It can't start a war because others refusing to use its currency. Then beware of another 911 style false flag attack.

We know there was an incident of live nuclear head weapons being carried over the continental US by a B-52 last August. There is attempt of dirty bomb attack in Houston this year.

Former National Security Agency analyst and naval intelligence officer Wayne Madsen has been in Houston investigating the Carnaby case at great personal risk. Madsen believes Carnaby was involved both in heading off a potential war with Iran (by leaking Mossad plans to assassinate Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah just days before Carnaby himself was killed) and in trying to forestall a potential terrorist attack on the port.
According to Madsen, “federal agents in Houston fear that ‘another 9/11-type part false flag’ attack is imminent, perhaps as early as July 4.”.......

Another time factor for Iran war is the Olympic Game in August. China has interest in Iran. He is an oil customer of Iran. Olympic Game could be an extortion chip for China's support in Iran war.

    What do you think?

Vladimir Putin Threatens World War 3, Says Russia Could Invade Europe Within Two Days
Putin is an megalomaniac... His facade is for his people. He damn well knows the US could decimate Russia very quickly - and IMO - views himself as some sort of martyr if a war ever broke out..

If anything he has an odd "cult or personality" - he likes to mike idel threats but damn well knows he can't act on them - at least with the US - maybe smaller nations in is region submit to him but his threats against nations that would squash him are just laughed at.....

Hell, I don't think China would ever back Russia - who is more valuable to China, the US, Canada - the entire west?

If Putin doesn't keep his pie hole shut he will find Russia in the same position as North Korea.
