I'm not voting for either of my DC incumbents, nor am I voting for my incumbent governor.

Sorry, I didn't say it correctly. By political force I mean forcing things on the political system through the law. I wasn't referring to a coup. I was referring to single term limits. My bad.

Now if only we could get everybody to do the same thing.

    Gotcha.

Term limits I fully support. I also support an extension on the terms of our Congressional reps. They run for office (which takes months), get sworn in, do less than a full year of work, then spend year 2 in re-election mode. It's horrible nonsense.

    Dare to dream.

People bitch to high heaven, then go to the polls and select the same damn person every time. That's assuming he/she even votes, especially during midterm elections.

I'm with the students on this one. Complete bs on the part of that school board. No curriculum should be biased or censored, just straight facts.
So what exactly is being opposed?

Let's see a student-published list of grievences, an itemised list of precice examples they have a problem with. What is the ISBN of a book containing objectionable material and what are the page numbers spisific examples can be found?

Good for them. I had the best history education in high school. It is one of the most important subjects and should not be used as a tool to manipulate youth.

What is being opposed is a school board created panel of hand-picked people to review the curriculum and censor the parts they don't like even though the district already has a panel that reviews the curriculum.

I have yet to see the majority of people show any kind of respect for the ACA, which is a law or President Obama, who has the most authority in the country. But it's cool to disrespect the laws or people you don't agree with, right?

Why can't you just respect the law that was changed by authority? If there was a chance to change the healthcare law back by a civil protest or to impeach the president who didn't follow the constitution by a civil disorder, would you?
I call my own shots, largely based on an accumulation of data, and everyone knows it.

What, exactly, was censored? What parts?
