Its common, as if these are semi-animate beings who dont have their own reasons for doing things. These people think they know whats happening because they read New Yorker magazine, listen to NPR, and vote democrat.

So you are (apparently) comparing Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan as remotely similar threats to America as ISIS (which has about 10,000 troops, mostly in pickup trucks with NO air power)?

    Noted.

Ron Paul says it much better then I can.

You have a problem with it - take it up with him as I really do not much care what you think about this.

    Good day.

BBC News - LIVE: US begins air strikes against Islamic State in Syria

Also, on the second post, all I'm saying is that things could be a lot worse you know? I wasn't meaning to imply that's something we have to worry about as far as ISIS is concerned (not for the foreseeable future at minimum). So if that's what the face palm was for, no reason to be alarmed.

While I understand your point, something is better than nothing at this point.

US-led air strikes kill 8 civilians, including 3 children, & 30 al-Qaeda-linked fighters, Syrian monitors say

    Good day.
Im saying they were a radical ideology and we didn't ask to go to war with them-we were MADE TO, and we defeated them-and it didn't create more zealots. APPEASEMENT DID NOT WORK. Take a god damned deep breath and stop wanting to run. Some people (who behead children and crucify old men) only understand power, lets give them a dose and send a message.

Early reports seem to indicate we did in fact use drones, but that wasn't as big of news as it was for F22's to be involved. If that is the case, it is in fact the first time F22's have been used in combat to my knowledge.

I've always had two problems with the analogy of current ME conflicts and that of our WW2 adversaries. For one thing, we dropped something like a million tons of ordnance on Germany and two nukes on Japan. And to this point, we really haven't done that much damage and suffering. Plus, the Japanese and the Germans were far more civilized than these guys. And even in that case, had Hirohito not made a personal plea for peace, we probably would of had a situation very similar in to the ME in Japan.

One - I am not searching through that whole page for your data. If you have something to show, please be specific...I do have a life you know.

Two - all I saw (whilst glancing at the page) was this 'Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates "participated in or supported" the strikes, the Pentagon says' That says participated in or supported.

Three - I did not draw the cartoon. Nor do I take responsibility for it's accuracy. Nor do I care that much.

But if the Arab states are SO involved - then why do they need America (rhetorical question)? ISIS is (apparently) made up of only about 7-10,000 troops and ZERO airpower. I am quite sure Israel or Saudi Arabia or several other countries could obliterate them in a few weeks with air strikes if they wanted to.

If they want them gone so badly...let them do it.

    You don't agree - I don't much care.

I am curious what other countries are actively striking at ISIS AND TO WHAT EXTENT...that is all I am interested in.

Debating closed minded people seems a ridiculous waste of time to me - no offense.

    Good day.

That's sort of underwhelming. If this was a first date, I think somebody would be pretty pissed...

Though from my understanding, the first round of air strikes were meant to hit enemy communications and command and control centers.
