Edit: did some research. Results are mixed, however they seem to be here to stay. Overall ROI is good.

Where are you that a good burger is hard to find?

    Take this:

    (sirloin steak)

    And this:

    (chuck steak)

    Put it through this:

Then decide how you like your burgers and turn it into something like this:

If you can't figure that out, you don't deserve a good burger.

Thanks for the mouthwatering pics but USDA prime beef is extremely expensive and imported in frozen where I am so it aint practical to do what you are suggesting. When I do buy USDA prime I pretty much cook it as a steak.

Hm, well that makes sense then. Hopefully as a consolation you have access to some decent seafood?

Oh hell yeah! Tuna and spiny lobster are very cheap here, I eat them close to twice a week!

Then I can't feel too bad about your burger deprivation. When we get our hands on some winter white king salmon, that is wagyu beef of he sea, far as I'm concerned. Not easy to catch, especially that time of year. But it's unlike anything else.

The poor will continue to be poor so long as they are not forced to improve their own situation in life. They are largely poor because they have done it to themselves, made bad decisions and failed to take advantage of opportunities when they had the chance. Who else is to blame for their situation? You refuse to acknowledge their part in their own failures.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

Yeah well, once in a while a burger isn't going to kill you. I think it's funny that so many people get all high and mighty about businesses they have moral issues with (like fast food places, Walmart, etc.) and yet these places still get huge market share. Deer season just started here and the wild hogs will be moving soon. We have our preferred local food, but McDonalds is not going out of business any time soon.

My quick guess is that this improvement, which should be done regardless of whether there is a continuing loss of market share, will do more to bring convenience to existing McDonald's customers than to regain lost customers/attain new ones. The principal reason McDonald's has been losing market share is that there is a large sociocultural shift underway in which younger diners are seeking healthier and fresher foods, putting quality ahead of cost. McDonald's business model is built on low cost (which undercuts its ability to serve the healthier and fresher food being demanded) and speed of service. The new ordering option will serve the existing business model, which is already eroding. It won't accommodate the underlying reasons for the shift in demand. Therefore, it's unlikely that the new approach will reverse McDonald's ongoing erosion in market share.

McDonald’s move towards dehumanization, launched as a pilot last winter and expanded across San Diego last week, is part of a larger trend of chain eateries turning tablets into your full-time restaurant buddy: equal parts menu, server and paycheck. Applebee’s, Panera Bread and even airport bars have installed tablets to allow diners to order food or booze without a wait.'

McDonald’s fresh hope to turn around slumping sales: Ordering burgers from a machine - The Washington Post

This is what happens when - among other reasons - you start demanding higher pay then your position is worth (like fast food workers demanding $15/hr.).

If these fast food workers force Congress to adopt a $15/hr. minimum wage? I guarantee you that the above will be the result...automation and mass layoffs.

It ain't rocket science people - you are VERY replaceable.
These people who actually believe they're worth 15 dollars an hour are clearly replaceable by a flipping vending machine... Goes to show how useless they are.

These McDonalds jobs are for kids so they can have a few bucks in their pocket - not adults trying to make ends meet.

Why in the hell should some fast food employee make as much as a skilled laborer or some kid fresh out of college?

Of course a democrat that supports this 15/hr nonsense would ever our could ever answer these simple questions.
