The stepdaughter of a U.S. veteran was told last week that she was not allowed to wear to school a T-shirt to honor the men and women who died in the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.

I don't see where it said the school administrators were political "leftists." But thanks for your daily dose of partisan hackery.

Sounds to me like something a rabid right winger would do.

Dude, she goes to a school with a dress code uniform!

The school does not have to oblige. I work at a school with a uniform and there are no exceptions and it has NOTHING to do with the Left.

Thaaaanks, Obama.

1: School uniforms, which the t-shirt isn't. Makes this a nonissue.
2: Her stepdad being a veteran has jack and **** to do with anything. Why did you bring it up.
3: Phony outrage is phony. Try and be real.

Not sure about that either. The school has a dress code policy, so I highly doubt political affiliation of any kind was a factor in that decision.

I know. I was just pulling Navy's chain.

Good. Would you be ok with a student being asked to remove a T-Shirt that declared that US policies in the ME provoked the 9/11 attacks?

Probably when you learn to read the whole story: LOL LOL the last line:

District spokesman Trent Allen said students are only allowed to wear clothing other than their uniform on free dress days, and Sept. 11 isn’t one of those days.

People on the right are not into political correctness my left wing friend........we cherish 9/11tshirts.

School uniforms are not politically correct NP. Why do you think you should be able to dictate what a school in another district has for a dress code, one that could very well be private(school uniforms are much more common at private schools and the school itself is not identified)?

I cherish 9/11 T-shirts my right wing friend, but rules are rules. Do you cherish rules???

What utter garbage, the school had a uniform dress code which the daughter knew but thought they might make an exception. Not PC, not leftist and you knew it. Fitting that it was reported by Faux News. Nothing on the Daily Caller today? Or the trailer trash Sarah Palin channel?

Some people, like Navy Pride for example, will dig mighty deep to find something to complain about.

I went to the link and NP's complaints have no foundation - this school requires all of its students to wear uniforms. Think about that a little bit.

Cherish whatever you want to cherish, just tell us one thing: What would happen to a sailor in the U.S. Navy who reported for duty wearing a 9/11 T-shirt instead of his uniform shirt?

Fill us in.

I believe that person would have a problem.

... a problem being AWESOME!!

She's just lucky the school didn't call the police and she got drop kicked for wearing it and violating school code.
