Well, quite frankly I haven't seen anybody greedy, or tacky enough to try to capitalize on the deaths of 6 million Jews by selling T-shirts.

Back in 2001, a week after 9/11, they tried to stops the Mets from wearing the hats of first responders, but quickly gave up on that idea when everyone had a crap storm over that. Yankees did it as well during the World Series, and again the MLB tried to stop it again but quickly gave up. On the tenth anniversary, I guess they decided that enough was enough.
I am sorry for the delay on replying to this as I had to kinda think about it some to give you an answer, and even then, the answer is not going to be satisfying. MLB had every right to do as it did, and was probably to an extent required to do so contractually. However, for something like that, where it is still a uniform uniform(if you see what I mean), I would have liked them to have come up with their compromise position much earlier. To an extent I would have liked to see the school have come to a compromise with the girl and any one else who wanted to do something similar. However, I tend to come down on the side of evenly enforcing the rules in most situations, so I do not have a real problem with MLB or the school in this case.

Not the best answer, but like alot of things, there are two sides to a story, and both sides do have so merit to their positions.

This is a private school with uniforms. The parents signed up for this, they knew the rules. Live with your choices folks!

Come on, NP. Show us all that you are not a right wing hack. Admit that you were wrong.

I know. His lack of honesty even when exposed is on display for everyone to see. A non-hack admits when they are wrong. Hacks do not.

I went to the link and NP's complaints have no foundation - this school requires all of its students to wear uniforms. Think about that a little bit.

Not if your step parent is a vet, then you can practically wear anything you want to or not wear. She should also not be forced to wear the school uniform like all the other students. As a matter of fact she shouldn't even have to attend school on days she doesn't feel like she needs to.
