The very same tax breaks that have the GOP governor in Kansas in deep trouble, not to mention the state's finances.

    Non answer.
Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.

Anyway, he's a democrat and some yahoo, with a failed law practice and three attempts to pass the bar and no endorsements even from the GOP because he's an incompetent fool, but he gets on the ballot with an R next to his name..... and wins by 7 points. Pretty sad really.
ouch. people rarely know much about down ticket candidates. I'm guilty of not knowing as well sometimes too.

I dunno if a plot is active but you have made an excellent observation (a serious effort by Sanders would pull Hillary to the left, at least in the primaries).

I hope he runs but don't think he would stand a chance, as he's truly for the ppl and seems fairly uncorruptible. Hilary will win IMO...

Also he is a independent and a self described socialist... Things I'm all for... He may run as a dem however...

Please define the policy positions, values and beliefs of what you state here as a "Neocon"?

He would never win if he decides to run. This is a no-brainer.

But god I hope he does!

I agree though... It might be good anyway it would bring socialism back into the mainstream and take away the "boogie man" aspect so many Americans think it is...

It also would allow him to challenge ppl like Hilary...

Re: Liberal Vermont Senator Sanders may seek U.S. presidency in 2016

I believe that Sanders, while a Socialist, would be better for America than Hillary, and huge improvement over Obama.

I believe that a President Sanders is at least honest about his belief in socialism, and is far more likely to walk the walk, rather than do what Obama did, run on a Leftist platform, and Govern as a Ethnocentric Corporate Cronnie Fascist.

I believe that a President Sanders would be a "Soft-Liberal", with rather naive and silly notions about economics, but he would not violate the Constitution and Law in the ways that Obama, Eric Holder, and the other Progressive-Fascists have done.

I believe that a President Sanders would cripple the American economy with Green endeavors which will Waste billions, and delay any real economic / industrial recovery. But, because he is not in it for Corporate Cronnies, but real belief in the Green agenda, it would waste less money, and generate more in actual Green improvements than the Billions thrown as kickbacks by Obama and Crew.

I believe that a President Sanders would have actually limits of morality and ethics, which are sadly lacking in Obama.

I believe that a President Sanders would be very weak in international politics, but, after Obama, the Cloward-Piven years, the world wide apology tour, the over use, while cutting the budget of our Military, America will be very weak no matter who becomes President in 2016.

I believe that a President Sanders would not get U.S. involved in any new wars which we refuse to call wars.

    What's wrong with socialism?

And you think he would be a soft liberal? You must have never scene him speak in congress!!!

And Hilary will b worse than Obama. She's a bigger interventionist and more right leaning than him.

Then, let's get rid of the system whereby the wealthy purchase influence in the government that helps them become even more wealthy. There are several things that could be done to keep the US from becoming more like third world countries in which all of the wealth in concentrated in just a few hands.
    no progressive tax rates either.
