He know that. He knows he wouldn't stand "a chance in hell". All he's doing is trying to pull Hillary further to the Left.

And I say that as an alternate Washington state delegate for Hillary in 2008. I've still got her old campaign posters downstairs as I type this. I'll eagerly vote for her.

A large portion of the country is turning Socialist. Not enough to turn the government full socialist, but maybe enough to give Bernie a chance in the Democrat primaries.
While most of us Dems would agree with Bernie for what he supports, most of us (including myself) will eagerly vote for her, most of us would prefer to see Bernie Sanders there. He's a good man.

    "extremist" lol

Even if he somehow won the nomination he would stand no chance. All you have to bring up is that he called himself a socialist and he'll get torn to shreds

Nope, nope... any moderate Republican would be co-opted by Tea Party money/influence before/after the election. Look at how Boehner has become their puppet... hell, Cruz has more influence in the House than he does

At this point in time it would be dangerous to put a Republican in the White House. Any Republican. After/if the Tea Party self destructs and hard right billionaires stop controlling the GOP, maybe.

Hillary is like voting a Moderate Republican into office. Bernie is similar in views to Warren. I would support either of the two latter.

Do you think he can beat Hillary? He said he thought he could, because she isn't a Progressive or a true Liberal where he is hands down. It was great interview.

I disagree with most of what he stands for, but I do like the guy. Wouldn't vote for him, but I'd love to meet him at a bar, buy him a few drinks and tap his brain. He's a brilliant man, and I have a huge amount of respect for him.
An attractive candidate with the most money is the hands down favorite to win the election. It is doubtful Sanders could pull either off; he'd be 75 at election time, another downside (Hillary would be 69). I do like what he has to say, generally speaking. The corporations and the banksters would spend trillions to defeat him. Literally.

His time, or the time for someone like him, has not arrived yet. The populace has not yet been sufficiently abused. Give the righties some time; they'll get them there, and the country will make a hard core lurch to the left with someone like a Sanders or a Kucinich.

Some Sanders quotes, just to see where he stands on the issues:

    More Sanders quotes here.

How much of what he says do you actually agree with?

I'm all for it. I love Bernie Sanders. You couldn't possibly find a more honest, straight-forward politician out there. If he runs, I'll be in his camp for sure. He's been saying "maybe" for several months now. Will wait for a commitment.

He said he'd run as a democrat. He'd suck it up and join the party and run in the primary against Hilary. Not in the general. So he'd have a much better chance than that list you made.
