Police: Zimmerman accused of threatening driver

Police are investigating two reports involving the driver and 30-year-old Zimmerman, who was acquitted last year of a second-degree murder charge for shooting an unarmed teenager.

Police say that on Tuesday, the man called police after a truck pulled up next to him and the driver yelled, "Why are you pointing a finger at me?"

Police spokeswoman Bianca Gillett says the man recognized the truck driver as Zimmerman. The man says Zimmerman asked, "Do you know who I am?" and threatened to kill him.

Two days later, the man says he saw Zimmerman in his truck outside his work. He called police but declined to press charges. His name hasn't been released.

Well looky there, an accusation without a gun. iLOL :doh

This does seem a little sketchy. A finger? Really? Was he threatening to poke your eyes out or something?

I also find this article to be a bit lacking .

- Apperson said he believed it was Zimmerman.
- Apperson, who has a concealed-weapons license, was carrying a firearm at the time, according to the police report. ( a lot of good that did him)
- Apperson said he didn't want to press charges. (makes me think he isn't so sure of the event)
- Apperson declined to press charges again.

So maybe Z did confront the guy and maybe he didn't. As far as the second incident, if Z had an appointment according to the statement: "Zimmerman told officers that he had an appointment at the address, according to the police report. Also located in the strip of businesses are a psychiatrist's office and a Christian counseling center."

the article does not state if that checked out or not.

Not sure how Z has a permit to carry anymore. But that is another issue.

I was just reading this story and there are better articles. The police stopped and questioned Zimmerman, and he and the driver have had two incidents already. The guy has never pressed charges though.

Maybe he has no permit for carrying said finger.

How would GZ have known where he worked? God, I wish that guy understood the definition of "low profile."

No kidding.

He keeps adding to his own bad karma.

How would GZ have known where he worked?
Who said he did?

"It seems like the guy is sitting there, waiting for me," Apperson told a dispatcher in another 911 call. "It's disheartening to see him lurking around here."

Seems like the guy is paranoid.

God, I wish that guy understood the definition of "low profile."
Show he doesn't.

It is quite odd that this person called the police on Zimmerman twice yet doesn't want to press any charges.
Maybe given his dislike of Zimmerman, he is making things up like others have.
With his comment of "disheartening to see him lurking around here", seems that something is wrong with the guy.

George Zimmerman threatened to kill man in road rage incident, Florida police say

LAKE MARY, Fla. - George Zimmerman threatened to kill a driver during a road rage incident in Lake Mary and later showed up at the man's workplace, according to police.

Of course Zimmerman's side of the story will be that he was just standing his ground, even though he stalked the guy for a whole day after threatening to kill him. I think Zimmerman has always been a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic, which is why the wackos in Florida support him. LOL. /snark

It's just a matter of time before this asshole ends up in prison for a long time ....a-la OJ Simpson.

Re: George Zimmerman threatened to kill man in road rage incident, Florida police say

Being put on death lists and having a bounty on your head will do that to you. It may knock a few screws too loose. If he becomes/is a public threat now, however, regardless of why, he should be institutionalized.

It won't be the end of the circus however. You see the same thing happening with the fegusson cop. He's been getting death threats, his public information was doxxed and he's been outed. Pictures of him, his wide and his kids were put online. I think some people put a bounty on his kids IIRC. The people who do that should also be put in prison. Why didn't Holder go about ordering the Black Panthers to be put in prison when they put a bounty of Zimmermans' head? Oh, I know, coz they're "his people".

Re: George Zimmerman threatened to kill man in road rage incident, Florida police say

...this time...
The first time it went to trial and he was found not guilty. The second time, charges were dropped. "This time", no charges were even filed. Next time the police won't even be called, and after that people wont bother him at all, if the pattern holds.

Seems like the guy is paranoid.
For sure.
Zimmerman threatens to kill the guy for pointing his finger at him? Sounds like paranoia to me.
Zimmerman needs psychiatric help.
It's just a matter of time before Zimmerman ends up in prison for a very long time.

It looks like Z was getting that help when the cops were called on him just for being there. Yeah the guy needs help, so leave him alone while he gets it.

If people didn't know before, they do now; the dude's peranoid, and rightly so. Z shouldn't seek out problimatic situations and people should keep their fingers to themselves.

I agree that Z is likely going to murder someone and end up in prison, because some dumass is going to know what buttons to push and make Z act out, and Z will kill him.

I am very confident that all the anti-gunners are already working on a way to spin that incident.

It seems that ever since he was aquitted for the Trayvon shooting, the guy has been playing with a few cards short of a full deck. That is of course assuming that the media accounts have all been accurate.

I watched every single day of that murder trial, and the prosecution never dug up anything in his past that at all resembles the behavior we've seen from him post-trial.

Assuming the accounts are true, there are only 3 things I can think of that explains this.

1. The FBI and the State of Florida have the countries laziest criminal investigation units, and never bothered to interview anyone that actually knew Zimmerman.
2. Zimmerman scoured 2 states and managed to locate everyone he ever befriended, worked with, or went to school with and bribed them all into telling investigators from the FBI and the State of Florida, that he was kind, generous and wouldn't hurt a fly.
3. The man just snapped.... Maybe it was from the jail time or the stress of the murder trial... Maybe some traumatictic event took place that we don't know anything about and that's what did it... Or maybe he has always been on the edge of losing it, and he finally fell off the cliff.

Who knows... The one thing I do know however, is if the media accounts are right, then the man's engine seems to be having a lot of trouble firing on all cylinders.

Its only a matter of time before Zimmerman ends up in jail again. Im surprised nobody has pressed charges against him with all these incidents since he killed Martin.

My guess is, they likely know what the media will do to them if they press charges. The instant you file on a celebrity you inherit paparazzi and all the harassment that entails.

You do not know if that is true.
And with what the other guy said, yeah, that guy may be paranoid and making things up.

Someone may cause him trouble again, causing him to be fearful for his life again and react.
That will rest on the person who does that.

How many of them have turned out to be substantiated?

The girlfriend crap? Nope.
The wife crap? Nope.
This crap? Nope.

Helping victims of an accident? Yep.
The speeding ticket/traffic violations? Yep.
Watching out for a friend's business? Yep.

I did qualify my statement by saying "if" the media accounts are accurate. :)

I understand that.
I was just adding to what you said to highlight what really has and hasn't been substantiated.
