Civil rights are irrelevant? Why am I not the least bit surprised to Liberals say that?

If women don't get to have taxpayer subsidized birth control, what makes you think that football players get to use their tax payer funded uniforms for religious demonstrations? It's a two way street.
No where is, "the seperation of church and state", written into any law, or constitutional amendment.

    May I answer that?

Good thing the constitution has never required the explicit writing of a statement for it to apply to certain situations. Anymore irrelevant statements? No? Moving on. Wait... before you come back with some nonsense:

Even if this wasn't a case of separation of church & state (which it is as ), do students have a legal right to deface school property with their religious symbols? No. They do not. So as it stands, the school has a right to tell them to take off the little crosses and there's nothing you can do about it.

    Now you have:

    http://www.wckkkk.org/identity.html

The White Camelia Knights of the Ku Klux Klan is a Christian Identity Klan. I realize that most people have no understanding into what Christian Identity means.

Identity Christian simply implies that we identify our race as being the true descendants of the Israelite people. I understand that most people have been educated to believe that the jewish people are God’s chosen people. Christians have even gone as far as to call themselves judeo-christians, they become extremely hostile at the Klan whenever this subject is mentioned. But, we are followers of Christ and even if our beliefs are unpopular, they are still correct. I am constantly told that Christ was a jew. That Moses and Abraham were jews, but, this belief is incorrect.
KKK Leader: 'We're a Christian Organization;' Claims the Klan Is Not a Hate Group

The president of a Virginia Ku Klux Klan group claims that the KKK is a faith-based Christian organization that does not condone violence.

"We don't hate people because of their race. We are a Christian organization," Frank Ancona, the imperial wizard of the Traditional American Knights of the KKK, told NBC 12, distancing himself from the Klan's violent history, asserting that he is seeking to "set the record straight."
    Please stop this.

What I think about what they were trying to do is irrelevant. They're a state funded university and tax payers complained about tax payer funded uniforms being used for religious reasons. If the players and athletic department don't like it, they can go to a private institution.

Why don't they remove the helmets and get tattoos of the crosses on their foreheads?

I am quite sure that God would appreciate such a gesture and protect them as he does with all his children blah blah blah blah...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I dont have to stop anything. That is new information...I never said it didnt exist, I said I wasnt aware of it. I'm not an expert on the KKK.

Considering their acts, I dont find them to be rational in the least....I look at them as attempting to use (by great distortion) Christianity as an excuse and foundation for their hate and ignorance....inaccurately.

Seriously? You never thought at any point that there might be some connection between the KKK and Christianity?

    Never?

You never heard of the connection?

    Not even once?

AFAIK, I have never seen or heard anything remotely Christian from the KKK. Your links showed about as much conformance the Christianity as the Westboro Church.

(Aside from burning crosses, I've never seen or heard anything remotely related to Christianity regarding the KKK until your posts.)

And the cross was used for execution (crucifiction) long before the nailed Christ up on one,

When I see the pics you posted...I see NOTHING Christian.

    But that's just me.

Do you think that people who burn the American flag are patriots?
