But in the spring issue of Middle East Quarterly, David Brog, executive director of Christians United for Israel, wrote a piece titled “The End of Evangelical Support for Israel?” Evangelicals have shifted within the last decade, Brog wrote, and are no longer considered automatic supporters of Israel.

I have studied the history of ME relations, and that is the exact reason why I have become skeptical of an exclusively militaristic approach to terrorism. The US isn't the sole reason why radicalism exists, but it does play its role. A lot of it began with the installation of the Shah. Our continued support for the Shah stirred up lots of anger. So did our permanent bases in SA. Radicalism, just about anywhere, is born out of oppression. When we stop supporting oppressive policies and oppressive regimes then we will see the dissolution of terrorism and radicalism. Until then, we will continue to see new groups and new leaders pop up no matter how many we kill.

"Interference" is the only way these people can survive. What about Islamic 'interference' in the lives of Jews and Christians? The mass murders, for example. You okay with that?
