Well, first of all, what is a "true" libertarian your majesty?
Second of all, I don't give a **** what they put on their silly little website. They can claim whatever they want, but the mere fact that you refuse (probably because you can't) to give me an example of a popular Tea Partier that is not an evangelical/social conservative shows that their website is only rhetoric. In politics, rhetoric is meaningless. It's actions that define a person/movement/party. If you take political figures/movements/parties at face-value, then, not to be mean, but you're a fool. Obama claims to be a constitutionalist (he even taught constitutional law) yet he has obviously proven otherwise. Does he defend the constitution simply because he says he does? Is the Democratic Party "pro-peace" simply because they say they are? Is the Republican Party "small government" simply because they say they are? What makes the Tea Party any different? The Tea Party can talk about their supposed "values" all day long, but when every majority representative (and I, for the third time, challenge you to prove me otherwise) takes a strong social conservative stance, those "values" are meaningless.
