Notice the attacks are personal and very insulting.

One justifies booing him off the stage because he is a "retard", language the left anywhere in the world condemns, but is the first line of defense of American progressives, who also often use such words as 'slut' in reference to Sarah Palin and Bachmann.

This is why this universal health care, pro-gay marriage, "socialist" Canadian despises the American "progressive" movement; exemplified in this thread as race baiting, xenophobic thugs. This man is so far from the base conservative Canadian philosophy, he is likely unwelcome anywhere but Calgary and even then he'd get politely ignored most places. But has more integrity in the scrapings of his fingernails than the rabid "retard" shouting "liberal".

It is not in anyway proof that the Tea Party IS itself a religion as your posts suggests, but merely points out that far right conservatives happen to be more religiously affiliated.

It strongly suggests, however, that the "progressive" left in Amerika IS religious about spreading propaganda including the false use of data.

His policies are what I have been fighting since my first draft card burning demonstration and I find myself defending him as an underdog being assaulted by rabid wolves.

Especially when you see those with integrity destroyed through personal attacks, slander and name calling. God forbid actually looking at what people really stand for. With the capacity of all the progressive movement to run away with itself, an even bigger fantasy issue that way in the US, having a guy like Cruz keeping them honest would be good for the nation. But he dared challenge thy sacred law Obamacare and thus must be an aberration upon the earth, never mind that pretty much everything he said about Obamacare was acurate, in the end there will still be 50 million Americans not covered and higher rates to pay for it.
