The USofA has NOTHING to lose by ending the embargo.
    Nothing.

By continuing it, we just look like bigger and bigger fools.
    Non sequiturs abound.

We would be enriching the commie dictators in Cuba, and giving them even more power over the people of Cuba. Why would you want to do that? Then we would be fools.

So your point of them being communist and oppressing their people means nothing. What is the real reason we have an Embargo on Cuba then? Because we can and there is nothing they can do about it? It is ridiculous. We don't like Castro, so let's punish the entire population of a smile island.

I would rather push for more embargoes of countries with human rights abuses rather than argue that a country that violates the human rights of its citizens should have their embargo lifted out of some bizarre appeal to fairness.

Well than that's you. I prefer not to look like hypocrites embargoing one country, but allowing many others that violate human rights.

Unfortunately, it will never happen. If we don't get our cheap electronics, we would have a melt down.

I believe you can get them in Canada no problem. I would like them open up trading again. Do you know what they used to wrap those Cuban cigars? Tobacco leafs from CT. Job creation. Bam

China hasn't changed, Saudi Arabia hasn't changed. China brought down one of our EP-3 about a decade ago, we still deal with them. We get hacked by China, secrets stolen by china, human rights violations by China. Now if you want to look like a hypocrite, that's on you. Fact is if we feel we benefit directly from it, we deal with dictators. It is idiotic and hypocritical to embargo Cuba and not other dictators and human rights violators.
