More than 100 teens swarm Memphis plaza, 'knocking out' shoppers

My point is these attacks seem to be done by a particular group of people. ONE particular group of people, who seem to thinks its ok to go and attack people for no reason. If another more "prominent" group of people did this sort mayhem they would be condemned as a group all over the media. It seems racism is alive and well, but it lives in a place most would not expect.

Google "white kids knockout game".

Then educate yourself. There are severe issues that need to be dealt with in the black community and in our country in it's entirety, but to say that this is only a problem of one race is false.

The dominant religion in Memphis is Baptist, so it's not unreasonable to think they might have been. Am I wrong? Are they Catholic?

They're definitely southern.

Southern culture is certainly more violent. If you doubt it, just look at the video. Look closely

People who wear socks with their sandals? I think I saw a couple of those in the video. While socks with sandals is widely considered a fashion crime, I don't think it's fair to stereotype everyone who does that based on the actions of a few.

It means a once domesticated animal, generally 're-wild' for at least a couple generations.

Yes, and I would venture a guess that these humans have once been domesticated as well. I know I have, and if I go feral, I'll most likely retain my sense of obligation not to maraud and destroy.

Who gets condemned as a group?

Do you believe whites are "condemned all over the media"?

Instead of judging other posters

I'll judge who I want, thanks.

let's hear your view of what you saw on the video - after all, the topic of the OP is the video,

Heinous and inexcusable.

not your need to fantasize about racists behind every curtain.

 Oh boy. Spare me.

Like slavery?

Feral requires generations. Humans are not domesticated, only animals can be feral.

They've clearly condemned these types of actions. It's obviously their race that you're drawing a parallel to.

But hey, let's hear some statements that would actually support your assertion that they've fostered these types of actions. I'm sure they won't be hard to find.

Y'know something? Barack Obama had a fantastic opportunity to advance the opportunities for blacks in this country. As the first black president he could have been the guy said, "I'm here because I put all the bull**** of my youth behind me, worked my ass off, stood up for myself and succeeded on my own merits and in spite of my ethnicity!"

He didn't do that. Never has done that and never will do that.

You know why?

It's because he spent his life reaffirming everything that's wrong with race in this country in the communities he "served" and then got elected not because he was a superior candidate but simply because he was black. He's the absolute epitome of the guy who could never get by on his merit but was a damned magician at baffling the crowd with bull****.

In 6 years in office he hasn't done a damned thing to improve this country or even improve the black community. Furthermore his "social justice" outlook on the world has facilitated the rise of radicalism throughout the world. The POS has no standards and no expectation that anyone will live up to the standards that were set before he came around. His administration is an abominable corruption of the standards that have been created over the past 225 years. The concepts of accountability, integrity and earned respect are as foreign to the guy as Sanskrit is to the average American 3rd grader.

You're damned right I'm bringing up Holder. He and the POS in the White House are key figures that promote the ideology that results in this behavior.

Bump.

Like slavery?

Feral requires generations. Humans are not domesticated, only animals can be feral.

I'm not aware of slaves having been feral.

And no, feral doesn't requires generations. A domesticated animal will quickly revert, if left alone in a natural setting for a long enough time.

I'm not aware of slaves having been feral.

Well, they're feral now, right? They were domesticated. It was much better then, right?

And no, feral doesn't requires generations. A domesticated animal will quickly revert, if left alone in a natural setting for a long enough time.

No.

Happy ramblings!

Hardly. Also, learn how to use the quote function.

I will use the quote function however I please, thank though for your kind consideration of my perceived plight with it.

Wearing socks with sandals is a crime? When did this occur? I am ignorant, I tell you, ignorant. Like Shultzie says "I know nothing." :notlook: Please don't call the fashion police.

It's a figure of speech. ****ing canadians.

Of course I know that - just thought I'd toss it out as another example of how you can take and twist someone's words to make them seem racist if that's your goal as opposed to understanding their point of view.

As for the latter part - yes, we do that, lots - keeps us from needing to run around wantonly assaulting and murdering strangers.

Apparently they are they even have an their own acronym WASP's whatever that means.

Jobs would be one hell of a start. Unemployment for black teens is something like 60% if I remember correctly. Of course being employed means doing stuff like showing up on time, acting at least semi-professionally and being responsible for completing basic tasks. If none of that is emphasized at home and in school then they are probably going to rebel against those things at work too.

A good "drill sergeant" type of boss might be needed. If they opt not to participate, there's always the possibility of prison time in their future. Honest black men as bosses on the job would be a great idea, IMO, if only as role models, which they might need..

Apparently they are they even have an their own acronym WASP's whatever that means.

You're claiming the media condemns white people?

Bees can't be feral, they aren't really domesticated. If bees get nasty, their hive is full.

My bees most certainly ARE feral. They were once domesticated and their behavior was manipulated via requeening for gentleness. I have since let them go feral, and raise their own queens, and do their own splits. They now have a nasty temperament, but were gentle about ten years ago. And yes, I know about bees, and if their hive is full, they raise new queens, and one of them leaves with a part of the colony population.

You're claiming the media condemns white people?

Yes WASP's. They claim they are racist, bigoted, and homophobic amongst other things.

Why is this conspiracy committed against white Christians?

Happy ramblings!

We've all seen Obama's response to Ferguson. If you haven't it's here - Full Transcript: Obama

He opens by discussing how he's going to investigate the shooting
I also want to address the situation in Ferguson, Missouri.

Earlier this afternoon, I spoke with Governor Nixon as well as Senators Roy Blunt and Claire McCaskill. I also met with Attorney General Eric Holder.

The Justice Department has opened an independent federal civil rights investigation into the death of Michael Brown. They are on the ground and along with the FBI, they are devoting substantial resources to that investigation.

The attorney general himself will be travelling to Ferguson on Wednesday to meet with the FBI agents and DOJ personnel conducting the federal criminal investigation and he will receive an update from them on their progress.

two paragraphs later he gets to the violence
So, let me close just saying a few words about the tensions there. We have all seen images of protesters and law enforcement in the streets. It’s clear that the vast majority of people are peacefully protesting. What’s also clear is that a small minority of individuals are not.

While I understand the passions and the anger that arise over the death of Michael Brown, giving into that anger by looting or carrying guns, and even attacking the police only serves to raise tensions and stir chaos. It undermines rather than advancing justice.

That's hardly a condemnation of bad behavior. It's more of an apology that there are some bad apples in the barrel. Then, after about as half hearted a "condemnation" as you can get he starts in on encouraging further protest!
Let me also be clear that our constitutional rights to speak freely, to assemble, and to report in the press must be vigilantly safeguarded: especially in moments like these. There’s no excuse for excessive force by police or any action that denies people the right to protest peacefully.

Ours is a nation of laws: of citizens who live under them and for the citizens who enforce them. So, to a community in Ferguson that is rightly hurting and looking for answers, let me call once again for us to seek some understanding rather than simply holler at each other. Let’s seek to heal rather than to wound each other.

And how does he wrap it up?
I’ve said this before. In too many communities around the country, a gulf of mistrust exists between local residents and law enforcement. In too many communities, too many young men of color are left behind and seen only as objects of fear. And through initiatives like My Brother’s Keeper, I’m personally committed to changing both perception and reality. And already, we’re making some significant progress, as people of good will of all races are ready to chip in. But that requires that we build, and not tear down. And that requires we listen, and not just shout. That’s how we’re going to move forward together -- by trying to unite each other and understand each other, and not simply divide ourselves from one another. We’re going to have to hold tight to those values in the days ahead. And that’s how we bring about justice, and that’s how we bring about peace.

He blames society for the mistrust and pushes his own program!! The guy is a damned hustler, not a healer.
