White House: Obama to Delay Immigration Action

Not at all. I believe in treating as you are treated. that is not hypocrisy. that is direct, in your face, get ready to get hurt and hurt bad because that is what you did when you were on top. There is nothing at all hypocritical about that.

It's disgusting dishonesty. Real slime at the bottom of the ethical barrel. Do you also propose the West begin beheading religious minorities, targeting civilians and committing genocide?

Doing what your enemy does, because they did it, is the foundation of hypocrisy.

Your position could not be any more abhorrent.

The slime is your position not accepting my direct in your face approach and trying to pretend it is something else. What is abhorrent is you trying to attack me because I am saying that it is your boys who need payback for their actions over the past six years and I will enjoy seeing them bleed because of it.

I could not be more honest or more direct than that. And that honesty is what disturbs you because you do not want your boys on the wrong end of the stick.

The slime is your position not accepting my direct in your face approach and trying to pretend it is something else.

Call it what you want, it is what it is. I think everyone except you can see the depth of the hypocrisy and dishonesty in your position.

Is there any American staggeringly naive enough to still buy the 'Hope and Change' bullsh!t?

No no no. You don't understand THEY STARTED IT.

Let's drop the republican perspective, and your speaking for them, and just look at this from your position.

You're lowering yourself to the level of actions you condemned. You're demonstrating that your position has no morals or ethics. You're showing that hypocrisy is merely part of your game plan. I have rarely seen such a display of flagrant dishonesty.

Its simple moral relativism and it shouldn't be surprising coming from the left. Its part of their pathos. It allows them to make false equivalencies, engage in hypocrisy and utilize pretzel logic to defend their indefensible positions. Silly season, really.

....until after the election.

Expect the last two years of this guys' tenure to be the bitterest :( No Clinton capable of reaching across the aisle, he.

Wait. And they think that won't happen after the elections?

Yes, as if "reaching across the aisle" is running rampant amongst members of the house.....

Those two "bitterest" years will be the ticket to Democratic landslides in 2016. The absolute best thing that can happen to Obama and the Congress is for the GOP to take the Senate this year and then go absolutely bonkers with every crackpot extremist right wing wet dream being enacted into passed bills that Obama can stand proudly before the nation and loudly VETO proclaiming himself as the last line of rational defense against dangerous extremists.

GOP immigration position currently enjoys about 2/3rds support. Putting the GOP in charge of the Senate allows them to prep 2016 by forcing Obama to veto every single item that Republicans have that have a broad support base, but which would divide portions of the Democrat base.

You could not ask for a better formula for Democratic success in 2016.

yeah, good luck with that.

Regardless of the reason for delaying action, I think it was the correct decision. Something like immigration reform needs to be done in congress. We have immigration laws on the books that aren't begin enforced and even changed by EO, I think this was a wise decision.

So how do you feel about your fellow republican congress critters passing the buck? This is congress's job and they continue to pass the buck.

We have some pretty good Immigration Law. The problem is that our Executive refuses to enforce it.

getting rid of the IRS for one.

getting rid of the progressive income tax for another.

making this nation even more gun centric then it is now.

repealing the various civil rights laws from the 1960's would fit the bill.

smashing the unions and making the whole damn country right to work cheaper if they can find a way to do that - probably getting rid of the NLRB.

getting rid of choice for women.

thats just for a start.

Thanks for confirming that you were eluding to the usual Libbo fearmongering.

Call it what you want, it is what it is. I think everyone except you can see the depth of the hypocrisy and dishonesty in your position.

That shows how bankrupt your position is that you have to invoke the fallacy of Argumentum ad Populum to try and give your own grudge against me some gravitas.

you seem to have drunk your own kool aid.

i have no idea what that means. But then I live in the USA of 2014 and not libertarian fantasy land.

Apparently Obama knows that the public does not want another amnesty and he is afraid that passing one will drive voters to the republicans. Of course the sad thing there is **** sucking traitorous rats in the republican party who want amnesty too and other republicans are worried about those **** sucking traitorous rats will cost them elections if they go along along with the democrat amnesty.

You've invoked the fallacy of having an argument. That everyone else can see this is merely my perspective on reality. Nonetheless, please... would anyone like to support Haymarket's "do unto them as they have done unto us" position?

I'm waiting for Haymarket's support.

At least its now clear dems dont give a rats ass about immigrants unless they can be used as a political pawn

Which is why the House went on a 6-week vacation BEFORE they acted on GOP Sen. Rubio's bipartisan immigration act from last year .

Reagan declared Amnesty One so Hispanic American voters would cross-over and vote for GOP Senate candidates .

So how do you feel about your fellow republican congress critters passing the buck? This is congress's job and they continue to pass the buck.

The House of GOP has failed to tell Americans why they are pitting Hispanic American voters against more conservative non-Hispanic voters. Nor why they won't act on immigration reform themselves, such as the GOP Sen. Rubio bipartisan bill from over a year ago now .

Yes, as if "reaching across the aisle" is running rampant amongst members of the house.....

 Ryan just released the House Plan to reform a lot of our welfare state, borrowing heavily from ideas pushed by President Obama, and citing him in doing so. Let me know when Democrats decide to take Half a Loaf.

I wish I could tag this so it can easily be brought back out to view in November of 2016. I have a feeling it might result in absolute hilarity all around.

I'll remember it for you. Did you see Boehner's crybaby remarks today--the hypocrite Maximus whining about no Obama actions after Boehner has refused to act on immigration reform for well over a year since GOP Sen. Rubio
handed him his bipartisan plan. Bet Thom is more concerned !

CPWILL--your own OP is not about the welfare state--please don't divert from your very own OP about the House of GOP doing ZERO on immigration reform do well over a year since receiving Sen. Rubio's bipartisan bill. Start a new thread on Ryan, since he'll be exorcising his own GOP .
