Cuban intelligence agencies recruit leftist professors

None sense, nobody mentioned appeasement, I said containment, which, Hussein, Mubarak, Gaddafi and Assad were doing quite well.

But you cheered when Mubarak, and Gaddafi were brought down...Right? Now you will deny it.

The only ones I saw hailing the "Arab Spring" as a triumph were those like you that were trying to pat Obama's appeasement on the back in the region. Now that it is clear that the MB, and that whole mess there was a huge failure, you magically want to make everyone forget that voices like yours were the ones actually cheering the uprising, and calling for Mubarak's head.

Sorry, I NEVER did any such thing. I have opposed the removal of Hussein, Mubarak, Gaddafi and Assad from the beginning.

I knew the left was filled with people seeking the downfall of the country, so im not shocked. I just wish the idiot kids listening to these people would wake up

"I knew the left was filled with people seeking the downfall of this country..."

Just what DP needs, another super-mega-biased I hate everyone on the other side member!

No, the left is not filled with people who want to see America destroyed. Why the hell would I ever want to destroy the country that gave my family everything? China I'd rather see in flames.

Folks shouldn't make infantile comments.

I agree. Saying the Cubans killed Kennedy is pretty infantile nonsense.

Many people like yourself want to be like me, but that's just a fanciful dream.

I agree, I want to be such an independent and independently state my opinions which do not align with any dependent ideology. Such independence. Wow.

HELL NO!!!! Wtf are you talking about dude. Do you even pay attention to anything I say, or are you just here to make trouble?

This thread started out with being a hackish overgeneralization and then devolved into conspiracy theory. I'm curious to see to what depths it goes, next.

What's sad is each time I bring up that: 1) the report is not new 2) the reports are far more expansive than that, I have yet to have the main conservative contributors of the threads actually address why this supposed news story is so important.

Maybe, maybe not...I don't know but will offer an apology if I have you wrong....You once said Monte, "No gods, no kings and no generals! That's where I want to live." So, I'll put it to you, are you a man of your word? If so, then why live in America? Why draw your life from a place you so detest? You think that by bitching enough you can change what America is? Into what? Sweden? Why not just move there? You're like that young girl that thinks she can change the misogynist budding wife beater, and instead of leaving him, she ends up in the hospital making excuses.

Ahem, 1962. I don't think Pakistan's government has been worse than Cuba's, but I agree with your larger point. Our most powerful weapon against Cuba would be WalMart. None of that, however, excuses the ideologically-driven treasonous behavior cited by the FBI.

Concerning what I bolded in your comment, truer words were never said. But I think I can certainly make the case that Pakistan's government has been worse than Cuba's - just ask India about the small wars they've had with Pakistan over the Kashmir region, and especially about Pakistan's nukes - you know as well as I do that we're every bit as worried about Pakistan selling nukes as we are North Korea. And then there's this list of massacres in Pakistan.

Look dude, if you can show up every day and bitch about Obama and diminish him as you do, why is it you have a problem when others do it?

I don't read you bashing Obama as much as I do America as a whole....

I don't believe I nominated Pakistan for a good government award. Nonetheless, the Cuban regime, supporting tyranny on two continents, was worse.

True, the Castros did support (what we believed was) the bad guys in the Angolan civil war, and they supported the Sandinistas, to name but two. But they were only able to do that because of their support of the Soviets. One wonders if their support of outside unrest was truly something the Castros wanted to do - which is admittedly likely - or was it at the behest of the Soviets, a condition of the millions of rubles they were being given every year?

But either way, I still think we should end this stupid embargo and let Wal-Mart, McDonald's, and GM lead the way.

And they supported Mengistu in Ethiopia.

Is there any sign that the government in Cuba has moderated its views on Communist governance? Are they willing to let open elections take place now? I haven't heard that....Until then all the average Cuban can do is dream of a day when they are free of Communist, Socialist control, and prosperity returns....Maybe when the brother Castro dies.

Do I really need to provide a list of nations that do not allow open elections, but with whom we have normal relations?

If you like, although I don't understand what that has to do with it? Cuba is 90 miles from the Keys....Slightly different situation. Why is it that every discussion with liberal progressives always at some point boils down to "someone else does it too"... Do you understand how 5 year old that sounds?

And none of them will address this post in a reasonable way.

I agree. Saying the Cubans killed Kennedy is pretty infantile nonsense.

Yeah, it must be a coincidence that the CIA station in Mexico City observed Oswald entering the Cuban embassy multiple times three months prior to Kennedy's assassination.

Even less incredible are Liberals defending Communism. Next we know you'll be defending the Einsatzgruppen, oh wait...

Dishonest post. He said nothing in his post in defense of communism and even suggested a tactic for speeding up its fall.

Coincidence isn't proof. Plenty of people, I imagine entered the Cuban embassy in Mexico City during that same time period.

Of course he defended Communism.

Care to name a few of those people?

Don't have my list of people who visited the Cuban embassy in Mexico City back in 1963 handy.

Happen to have your proof handy?
