No loss is acceptable, and apparently you don't read too well iether. Going to the Middle East is dangerous business; our troops know that, our journalists certainly know it, and those at the emabassy knew it too. So, what do we do? What did we do when Ronald Reagan sent over a bunch of people to Lebanon who were slaughtereds in their sleep!?!

There's no there there dude. You'll have to accept that. You people are just going to have to go elsewhere to try and jam up Hillary Clinton for 2016.

That was reported in the Accountability Review Board for Benghazi (ARB) report that came out in December 2013....


'...Just prior to receiving the TDY RSO’s distress call shortly after 2142 local, the head of Annex security heard multiple explosions coming from the north in the direction of the SMC. The Annex security head immediately began to organize his team’s departure and notified his superiors, who began to contact local security elements to request support. The Annex response team departed its compound in two vehicles at approximately 2205 local. The departure of the Annex team was not delayed by orders from superiors; the team leader decided on his own to depart the Annex compound once it was apparent, despite a brief delay to permit their continuing efforts, that rapid support from local security elements was not forthcoming....read....

It wasn't a lie, nota bene. The CIA officer that wrote the talking points chose to ignore the repeated warnings from the CIA Libya Station Chief that the attacks on the compound were not a protest because he didn't believe him. Instead he preferred to believe what intelligence analysts and DoD in the US were telling him, that the attacks stemmed from a spontaneous protest. In short, he chose to believe people who weren't even there over someone who was. He also said he didn't distinguish between a protest and an attack because to him they meant essentially the same thing. The confusion or blame if you prefer lies with him, Ex CIA Deputy Director, Michael Morell.


"..Morell deleted references to extremist threats linked to al-Qaeda in versions of the talking points and said he did so because he believed the information provided by intelligence community analysts and the Defense Department over the CIA's own station chief in Libya.

Questioners on the House panel asked how he could believe it was both a protest gone awry and a planned terror attack. He said they were not "mutually exclusive."

I think it was just three CIA ops who wrote the book. There were probably at least 12 CIA ops at the Annex altogether because that's how many heroism awards were given out.....

A few were injured.....and that's another reason why Gowdy is taking depositions.

Also one very important point with it all.....was that Hillary never checked back on her people to see if they made it out alive. She never talked to anyone after Hicks. Yet she was never questioned over this? So you can see how this can play out with protocol for the Team BO.

She testified that she didn't speak to anyone after Hicks......not even BO andthat she didn't speak to Panetta until the following day. Hicks testified he never talked to her again after the first call. There is no way she can get around that fact. Shows a true insight into her character. She just didn't care enough to see if her people made it out alive.

Which as you know.....will be brought to bear down on her should she try and make that dash for the Presidency.

Before the special even aired, even viewed, Media Matters had a hit piece out on it. The men discuss hearing the pleas for help coming from the embassy wanting to respond and given orders not to go and all three agree that if they hadn't been delayed, Stevens and Smith would be alive today. Another significant thing that came out of the interview is none of these three men working for the CIA were made known of some video. If anyone would know about a video causing havoc, it would be the CIA. Finally, that stinking lie is forever put to bed.

Part II and III will be aired over the weekend. I highly recommend watching it or at least recording it.

Why would three random security operatives be aware of a video being used as a justification for an attack that hadn't happened yet?

Actually Nixon tried to cover up a crime committed on his behalf. Regardless, the fact that the Administration lied to the public about a major terrorist attack on the United States in order to influence a domestic election is hardly a non-issue. Had Bush pulled a stunt like that, Democrats would be pushing for impeachment, and possibly rightly so.

Three CIA operatives on the ground would have some of the most accurate pictures of the tactical level fight - it's why it's called "Ground Truth". Including whether or not it was a planned attack or a bunch of hooplah over a youtube video. That is why, for example, the Embassy in Cairo knew that the video was behind the protest it was seeing, and why the Embassy in Tripoli knew it had nothing to do with events in Libya.

I found these to be incredible men and if the rest of the US Military is anything like them, and with no further social experiments, the American people can rest secure that they have the best protection available anywhere. But we can also see how the fate of these men, and admirable people like them, can be determined by the lowest form of political maneuvering.

Well, one who was there turned out to be a fallacious liar and got a very good 60 Minutes journalist fired. Secondly, of those who were there, credible journalism and government investigations found that there was no vast conspiracy to lie and hide any truth whatsoever. It is only the goofy right-wing and Fox Nes that are pushing some sort of meme designed to break Hillary Clinton and the Democrats for this upcoming House elections and 2016.

Uh, no, Nixon was invloved in the conspiracy to commit the crime: Daniel Elsbergs "Pentagon Papers" were the target and Nixon feared what they would have revealed about him. Then Nixon conspired to obstruct investigations. The ad hoc attack on the Benghazi embassy, was not a major attack on the United States; your hyperbole is very amusing and a very large reason that your version of it has no credibility in the world. And Bush did pull a stunt like that!! he and his thugs lied their asses off and got nearly 6,000 Americans killed for nothing and opened up the door for ISIS.

I think peraps you should revisit your position.

What did they cover up? A talking point? ROTFL

I mean it's not like anyone tried to break into a private office to steal political oppenents private information.... or covertly sold arms to Iran during an embargo in exchange for drug money or anything.

Its simple.....BO and his team at first stated they didn't know what was going on. It was a lie. Then they deflected with a Video and Lied about it. They were incompetent as they knew their security had been breached twice before that attack.

Then to top it off.....Hillary and State hired Ansar al Sharia as Security for Benghazi. Who also attacked us and then Ambushed the escape route.

Also then there is the Issue of the Turk Envoy meeting Stevens in Benghazi.....while the Turks had no Embassy in Libya, Period. Which involves a weapons transfer and to Syria. (yet not Brought out into the open) Even tho the Rebels in Syria admitted they received Weapons and ManPads from Libya.

Which is another reason why Gowdy is taking those depositions.
