Well, he is STILL shaking down and extorting banks.
That was called the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) - and was signed by Bill Clinton.

That bill was disgusting - it pretty much made "credit" a "right" for minorities er made lenders responsible for welfare rather than welfare through government channels...

^^ That is a thread within itself...

How do you actually think we ended up with all these banks failing? or this housing bubble? I'm not going to blame the CRA entirely but the CRA certainly played a role.

Hopefully this rogue cop, Wilson is through. Whether of not he serves anytime in jail, his professional and personal life will be in shambles. Poetic justice. Maybe this cop will eventually off himself, so we all can weep for his sorry ass.

    No, it didn't.

Most evidence shows it didn't really accomplish anything at all.

I didn't need a video to see the instigators and OWS-type anarchists running around during the riots. Just judging by who was arrested on any given night, there were obviously a greater percentage of outsiders there.

Would you rather it had been locals causing all that trouble?

That's your opinion, which you are entitled to and I don't agree with.

You and those like you will lose in Missouri.

Don't take my word for this, wait and see.

The state of Missouri has a long history of racism (It's one of the most racist states North of the Mason/Dixon line.) and that's going to be rooted out, whether you and others like it or not.

    "I don't need evidence!"

Even the link provided said it was two guys. Yes, there were plenty of out of towners, but you're conflating that with anarchists and "OWS-types." You're just projecting your personal stereotypes.

And what the hell do you mean "would you rather?" I get choices in who commits crimes now? It's somehow better when someone from out of town loots a store?

How do you know I haven't led that life?

Yes it did Duce, I have extensively researched the CRA for the last 8-10 years... The CRA was all about FORCED LENDING TO MINORITIES, including mortgages.

In short Bill Clinton attempted to do away with traditional welfare and force the banks to foot the welfare bill.

Don't worry because you can blame republicans for that fiasco too, because that bill was nothing short of a "tradeoff bill" that could easily be connected to DOMA.
