Laptop reportedly seized from ISIS hideout hints at bio weapons attack

I just asked you a simply question of "why would a hypothetical Texas army be made up of mostly Hispanics?"

There is a large percentage of Hispanics in Texas. I thought you would be able to figure this out, but I guess I was mistaken. Also, much of the white population is older and therefore would probably be in the minority in a hypothetical Texas army.

I can accept that.

You do know the government lumps White and Hispanic together? That's because we are both Caucasian.

I know. I'm real close to one Hispanic, my wife.

Nice. My Wife and I are Irish/native American.

I married my wife back when whites marrying a Mexican wasn't always looked upon as nice. Originally my parents weren't overjoyed and her dad was down right pissed off about it. Over the past 41 years the world had adjusted, we've remained the same.

Congrats on the long marriage.

Y'all Texans?

The shipping port in Houston is also a very likely target as the number of cargo inspected is miniscule. Bombs will not be the weapon, it will be chemicals like bubonic plague etc. Their hatred for us cannot be measured and they are recruiting heavily in Minneapolis. The children of Somalian immigrants are being recruited through terror rap music and the like. The adults are trying to make the best of this country but their children are looking for a thrill.

I suspect their hatred for us CAN be measured. It would be approximately equal to the hatred you have for them. :peace

I don't care anymore..... We should just bomb the ever loving snot bubbles out of the numerous hotbeds of Islam in the Middle East and Africa.

At this point it is self preservation.

I could care less about the UN considering they're more interested in absorbing radical Islam - they think it's cute and progressive tolerance.

These Sharia clowns are about as insane as the WBC yet look at the treatment the WBC gets here in the states yet they have not even committed any violence...

Or we could start beheading or straight up executing (by throwing these clowns out of airplanes) from GETMO.

We should, but we won't, and unfortunately one day, our descendants will pay the ultimate price because we didn't.

I wonder if any other sources have verified what Foreign Policy is telling Fox?

Kal - you have to start assuming that everything our government says is a lie - whether or not it's done for the citizens benefit, or to control possible panic, or because they are incompetent - it really doesn't make much of a difference. The only thing I DO know at this point is that if there was to be a botched attack on the US (and we are ripe for one) it will be in spite of our government not because we have been keeping our eye on the terrorism ball.

Just curious. Can we Americans assume that the government is always lying to us, or just when we have a president from the Democratic Party? And everything, EVERYTHING! Really?

Yeah, I had a British chap sitting on my porch this week, in conversation he kept referring (btw, he's 77 years old) to the Germans as Gerry's. When I questioned him (based on other comments as well) why he seemed anti German, he said, "because they dropped a bloody bomb on my house". Memories are long on this sort of thing, and I suspect that the hatred you refer to, will be at least as long lasting. But not for the deliberately propagandistic reasons that Bush claimed.

Government has no problem lying to it's citizens when it benefits government regardless of party. I just so happens this current president lies more often about a wide variety of issues. Is it a good assumption that the government is lying to the American public? Sure.... start with the assumption it's a lie then when it is not a lie, feel good about something honest coming out of Washington.

I'm sure that which administration has lied more is going to be subjective, but otherwise, I agree with you.

Bombing terrorists creates more terrorists.

As often as right-wingers talk about dictators and fascism and oppressive government, they sure seem eager to have the United States government start killing large groups of innocent people.
Wait, isn't it libs touting Obama as handling this problem through bombing? Or, is it whatever repub's do its their fault, and whatever Obama does its repub's fault too? Real heads I win, tales you loose scenario you got going there.

Bombing terrorists creates more terrorists.

Yes, it does, but then now that an extreme terrorist group has taken over large areas of Iraq and Syria, what do we do? Do we just let them alone and hope they'll go away?

Do we bomb them and create still more terrorists?

Do we send in the drones and create still more terrorists?

Is there a good solution?

There was a time when terrorists found no quarters in these places. They damn sure weren't holding ground anywhere. Lets just continue to use the military to create problems that require a military response. This is good for our defense contractors and the politicians with their hands out to the many lobbyists selling smart bombs and MRAP's, but not for anybody else. Pretty sick and twisted.

Is there a good solution?

Not really at this point. But if we were interested in doing so, we'd have to fight some more discriminate battles and engage in long term pro-western propaganda.

Iraq basically needs to become three countries at this point. And those countries need to improve their economic situation. Extremists have a hard time recruiting when people aren't desperate.

That may be right.

Now, what do we do to bring that about?

Or, do we simply sit back and hope they work it out?

That would quite possibly answer all parties concerns, and tell the sympathisers of IS, your country is over there, go practice sharia until the cows come home, DO NOT step one foot outside of those borders and attempt to force it upon anyone else or it won't be nothin nice. But then that would cut Halliburton, KBR and all our defense contractors out of their much needed jobs.

Hot Damn, 10 more years of war!

I'm buying stock in Halliburton TODAY.

That would certainly contribute to a better understanding but it's difficult to find any pro-western propaganda even in the west.
