How's all that tax-cuttin' for the rich workin' out for ya? If you're Grover Nordquist, seems like all is going according to plan!

Same problem with NY. Glad I don't live back east. Cloudy all the time.

Dealing within a state such as KS with the realistic chances: the independent. Mainly because of this: Democrats Could, Ironically, Hold The Senate If One Of Their Candidates Drops Out

Ol' Virginny has a nice $2.4 billion shortfall
Be skeptical of anyone who wears a political label - party or ideology - with pride. Most of our problems are because people love to "debate" (it isn't debate, but they pretend it is), but are not interested in developing solutions. Solutions require empathy, thought, and compromise, and most folks aren't interested.

The Norquist playbook is working perfectly: cut taxes; complain about the resulting deficits; argue that deficits are caused by spending (ssshhh... don't mention the tax cuts); get others to focus on the spending; achieve smaller government; argue taxes are too high; and cut taxes. Rinse and repeat.

I don't think it's a done deal that either Orman, if elected, or King will caucus with either party though I don't know the rules at 49-49-2.
And then there's Bernie Sanders who's blazing his way through the South gauging support for a POTUS run as a DEM or Indy.

Personally, I'd like to see Orman and King refuse to vote for Reid and demand Schumer for their support.
As well, I'd love to see the reformation of the gangs that have been successful in getting things done in the past.

If only Paul Ryan can bring sanity to his party in the ten short days they work before the election.
As Ways and Means chair next year, he'll be the BMOC.
I wish he'd forget about President and get this House in order .

That's a dodge, don't you think? Until six months ago, Virginia's governor was a Republican.

Illinois' budget shortfall is $45 billion. I'd say it's workin' out better than our Democratic legislature and governor is working out for Illinois. You?
The devil whispered in my ear, "You cannot withstand the storm." I whispered back, "I am the storm."
