If you can't deal with the definition of words, that sounds like your issue with English. Not my problem either way.

But what is so different about this case? Oh that's right, it's a white suspect, and the shooter was a black cop.

FWIW, I actually think that this case is worse than the Brown case. Taylor never charged the cops, and wasn't trying to get their weapons, or anything like that.

So, let us see just how fast in this thread the positions magically switch sides...This should be fun...

    More from a different site:

In another story from New York:

Oh yeah, tell us all again how black people can not be racist....I'd LOVE to hear it again.
Why are you trying to make this about race? Your example is just another example of another bad cop....which is becoming increasingly prevalent.

As for Obama, I am sure you'd agree that the passing of Margaret Thatcher was an event that touched every corner of America as well, how many officials did he send there? Why didn't HE attend? He should have.

So it just sounds a little like excuse making to me.
You're reaching here, j-mac. The issue as outlined in the OP which you started has nothing to do with personal responsibility as a precursor to racial bias from the media. I've provided one explanation as to why the death of Black men at the hand of a White man/police tends to get national media attention over White men killed by Black men. So, unless you've got something more to add to the subject matter at-hand along the lines of why the media tends to show such biasness, I'd suspect you're commentary is nothing more than a purposeful attempt at trying to derail your own thread.

    Not cool at all.

Come on OV. You're making this about generational oppression, to which I would say that although there are more opportunities for black people in every aspect of society than ever before, there is still some out there that are racist, and probably always will be. But those are the exception to the rule today.

As to why the media hypes this so? I'd say that most in the MSM are dyed in the wool liberals, that are either displaying classic "white guilt", or they view themselves as as some kind of useful pawns to the race hustling grievance industry. Either way they are not being honest about it, especially when black on black crime is the predominantly overwhelming reason for black men dying today under circumstance of gun play.

You're kidding right? (Seems I tend to say that alot to you Disney) This is every bit as much about race, as Brown/Wilson.

I don't see either of them about race. Both are examples of bad cops.

mmmmmmm-k....Unfortunately that is not why Sharpton is there, that is not why Jackson showed up too...Clearly the media also sees this as a race issue, that's why for nearly half a month we were treated to non stop coverage, with breathless reporters pushing the race of the cop, and the race of Brown....So, you'll excuse me if I don't buy it totally, but good for you if true.
