Anyone who thinks that there's no racism and no racial division in the USA could learn a lot in Ferguson, Mo.

But they'd have to keep their eyes, ears and minds open.

I predict that some people in the USA will learn nothing from the Ferguson tragedy and similar events because they have their eyes, ears and minds closed.

I think there is plenty of racial divide in the country. The Democrats wouldn't be a party without fueling it.

But yeah, there is a big divide between those protests. One was pushing the rule of law and the other was demanding a human sacrifice in the name of "justice".

When I heard a young unarmed black man was shot by police, I felt sad. When I heard he was shot in the back I felt angry. When I heard that he wasn't shot in the back I was confused. When I heard he had just strong arm robbed a convenience store I felt the shooting may have been justified. When I heard he broke the eye socket of the policeman who shot him I was glad he got shot.

Bottom line, everyone should wait until all the facts come to light before running down to the nearest liquor store, breaking the windows and stealing vodka.
And by the same token, everyone need to wait til all the facts comes out before declaring that this young got what he deserves.

Look I agree with what you said above, however you seem to only afford that to the cop while still demonizing the victim. That whole story regarding the broken eye socket has been debunk. I said it before in other threads. We all need to take a step back and let the true evidence come out then make a judgement call.

Race relations will never get better until people start honestly listening to the other side. I just read a few comments on this thread and just shook my head. The conclusion that many of you have is that race relations issues are only coming from the blacks because white people are doing no wrong. The media is the sole reason why black people are angry.

If this blindness continues then we will always be divided country.

Sorry, but Blacks are the ONLY people who can fix the issues that are prevalent in places like the South side of Chicago.

No one else can make the inner city culture understand the importance if education or family exept the people that live there.

I die laughing whenever I see nonsensical, racist **** like this. The idea that people who live in the 'inner city' don't understand the importance of education or family is nothing but the wet dream of racists.

I'm a middle class educated black man who never step in chicago faces racism all the time. Please explain to me how race relations between someone like you and me can get better?

    That debunked nothing.

To debunk something you need to have PROOF.

CNN offered nothing of the sort.

    Jesse is that you ?

I " die laughing " when I see " willful ignorance " on the scale that you've just demonstrated.

And keep slinging the " racist " BS narrative around.

Its people like you, who cheapen the charge of racism for your own personal agenda that perpetuate the corruption thats led to the creation of inner city culture.
